(CNSNews.com) - The House Ways and Means Committee voted 23 to 14 today to refer former IRS official Lois Lerner to Attorney General Eric Holder for possible criminal prosecution.
In a contentious open-to-the-public hearing that lasted only few minutes, the House Ways and Means Committee voted this morning to immediately go into a closed session to discuss a letter proposed by the committee’s majority to refer former Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner to the Justice Department for possible criminal prosecution.
When Ranking Member Sander Levin (D.-Mich.), seeking to make a point of order, repeatedly interrupted Chairman Dave Camp’s (R.-Mich.) attempt to start a roll-call vote intended to take the committee into closed session, Camp told him: “Just chill out. What is the gentleman’s point of order?”

Exactly. The house should be going the route of “Inherent Contempt”, and not involve the executive branch. If they do/did, they’ll have this ... *itch in “common jail” in no time.
Holder’s answer will be “you don’t want to go there Buddy”

Holder will approve none of this, it is past time to impeach Holder.

This is Kabuki theater. Either they have to start this route before taking a different one, or this is just theater.
I believe they tried that already, but Holder said there was nothing to warrant an independent prosecutor. So, that tells us where this will go from here... nowhere.
So who are the 14 that were willing to let Louis Lerner get off so easy? Where is the roll call?

and NOTHING will ever get done as long as he's Atty Gen.
Contempt? Slap on the wrist. He needs to be removed.

The only sounds out of holder’s office when he meets lerner will be “it’s twue! It’s twue!!”
Hate to disappoint you but moving to nothing. The Holder brown shirts will never trash her. And even if he did King Obama will save her. We are defeated by the communists empire that has taken over the Federal Government.

It’s all theater. The GOP don’t intend to actually DO anything about the IRS assaults. We’ll have another hearing of two and then everybody will leave for the summer. Wake me up when it’s over.
Screw the ‘Just Us’ Dept. Doesn’t the House have the Constitutional authority to have her ARRESTED and IMPRISONED without DOJ involvement????
My understanding is that the Contempt of Congress motion is still on schedule by Issa’s committee.
It’s a start...I’d guess Holder will refuse, a special prosecutor is needed.
