His message to those he encountered Tuesday, according to the source familiar with the discussions, was clear: Keep your powder dry.

Huckabee has a good show, but I think he ought to forget about running for president. Conservatives surely won't support him. Way too liberal.

Watch him get the full MSM treatment; is there ANYBODY they’d rather have run against Hillary?

Setting up the palatable “Christian” as opposed to the “unreasonable” or “unelectable” Cruz.

Seen this game before.

Yes, we need a conservative president to help force the federal government back into it constitutionally limited-power cage. But I will still question the motives of any so-called conservative that runs for president. After all, and with all due respect to his family and supporters, Ronald Reagan wrongly signed bills that allowed Congress to exercise constitutionally nonexistent federal government powers.

The duplicitous Huckster’s only purpose, should he run, would be to be another “stalking horse” whose mission would be to peel away votes of some misguided conservative from voting for the true conservative in the primary race. The self-centered Huckster knows this routine of splitting the conservative vote well.

Well, hell...then let’s vote for anybody in the Republican primary who doesn’t call himself/herself conservative. That way we’ll get the conservative president we need.
