Lost in the overall shuffle concerning the many problems with Obamacare’s exchanges is the central problem of enforcement of those aspects of the law the president hasn’t waived or delayed yet – including the particular challenge when it comes to verifying the immigration status of those applying for taxpayer subsidized insurance.
On April 1st, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services issued a new guidance document to health insurers. The CMS guidance says that people whose immigration status is uncertain will be presumed eligible for subsidized coverage in Obamacare’s marketplaces while a further review is pending. Emphasis mine:
If there is an application inconsistency, the Marketplace will provide the consumer with eligibility while the inconsistency is being resolved based on the information provided on the application.

Medicare? I thought that only people who paid into it from via deductions from their paychecks got the benefit.
Unless illegals have a social security number and legal documentation, they are not paying into it. And if they do, then that means they are breaking the law... again and again.

He was criticized for saying it during a speech that millions of Americans were watching. Many people say Obama is a liar, but Joe Wilson really got the word out there to EVERYBODY.
Obama is correct: they are criminals, not immigrants.
How to get to 7.1 million:
(1) Ask the Mexican Embassy to help sign people up (yes, the Obama Administration really did that).
(2) Ignore eligibility rules, i.e., the rule of law (yes, the Obama Administration really did that again).
(3) Count anyone who put something in their shopping cart as a purchaser in order to lie about the numbers, whether or not they actually tried to buy, and whether or not they paid the premium (yes, well, you know).
True, they are illegal aliens.
