A deal has been reached between Israeli and Palestinian negotiators to extend US-brokered peace talks, according to Middle Eastern news outlet Al-Arabiya.
As part of the deal, Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard is to be freed from his 27-year detention in the US while the contentious fourth set of Palestinian prisoners are to be released.

True but even some favorable_to_Israel conservatives....This Obama-Pollard trap moves them a bit anti-Israel unless they can see through this scheming which is fairly clever. Done by who? Unfortunately, his release will be used to get more concessions out of the Israelis and to shore up Obama's and the Democrats' support among Jews.
Pollard did much more than give away secrets to an ally. He shopped his information and expertise about U.S. Navy threat assessments to three countries before he approached Israel, and approached a fourth country while talking with the Israelis. Pollard is often portrayed as having been motivated solely by his devotion to Israel’s security, but the truth is that he offered to sell what he knew for money.
