Appearing on Thursday´s O´Reilly Factor, former CBS investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson claimed that CBS "had barely begun to scratch the surface" of the "Fast and Furious" scandal before the network moved on from the story. She noted that the network showed similar reluctance for its coverage of Benghazi and the ObamaCare rollout. Before her resignation last month, Attkisson covered Obama administration controversies like "Fast and Furious" and Benghazi and her reporting helped the CBS Evening News win the Edward R. Murrow award in 2012. Yet she told O´Reilly that higher-ups at the network moved on from the

Their invitations to Tina Brown’s parties were threatened by that kind of reporting.
I saw this segment. She made no bones about what happened at the network.
Considering that it was obviously State-sponsored Terrorism, Treason, and Conspiracy... yeah, the investigation didn’t even scratch the surface.
Then in the late 30s, Murrow began a hiring spree of fellow travelers like Howie K. Smith, Eric Sevareid, lil' Dougie Edwards, Charlie Collingwood and Dickey Hottelet. Contrary to what's believed today, it was, in fact, Senator Joseph McCarthy who ultimately triumphed and was right in spite of the relentless smear campaign of Egbert and Freddie Friendly (another liar -- his name was really Ferdinand Wachenheimer). Don Hollenbeck, an intimate friend of Murrow, was exposed as a commie by Jack O'Brian of the Journal-American. Ol' Donnie cowardly committed suicide which devastated Egbert since one of his "boys" was no longer around.
The tradition of the CBS brand of vile anti-American hatred began long before Dan Rather and KKKronite. It was the loathsome Egbert R. Murrow who started it rolling. And in its wake, Murrow left his own harvest of shame.
BORe gave her three minutes.
“BORe gave her three minutes.”\
Then he took more than two minutes of that time with his own self-aggrandizing flagellation.
She be right on! ! ! ! !

His constant over-talking and finishing other folk’s sentences caused me to stop listening several years ago... Must be a New Yarker thing for it sure doesn’t sell in Texas and the Southern States where it is considered extremely impolite... Bless his heart...
Thirty years from now, the old folks’ homes will be filled with bitter journalists who sit there, filled with regrets of career opportunities squandered - while boring each other about their trips to Hawaii on Air Force One.
Thanks for posting this article with the complete transcript of Attkisson’s token appearance on FOX’s TV Show “Shout down your Guests” with roast-host Billy O’.
By ignoring the always rude and self-serving blatherings of Billy O’, this quote by Attkinsson leaps off the page:
” - - - I think there are larger things at play in the industry. Broadly, there are overarching concerns about, I would say just fear over original investigative reporting. There is unprecedented, I believe, influence on the media, not just the news, but the images you see everywhere. By well-orchestrated and well-financed campaigns of special interests, political interests and corporations. And I think all of that comes into play. - - - “
I hope that Attkisson fully develops that topic in her new book.

O’Gasbag’s biggest thing is listening to the sound of his own voice. For the most part, I’ve switched to FBN during his time slot, Cavuto is a whole lot easier to listen to. Kelly is eating his lunch.
