Milbank implied to Al Sharpton that the GOP has not politically targeted HHS Secretary Sebelius because she is white
During a segment on Thursday's Politics Nation with Al Sharpton, frequent guest Dana Milbank insinuated that the GOP only has issues with Attorney General Eric Holder and President Barack Obama because the GOP is racist. During a segment with Sharpton and MSNBC's Karen Finney about Kathleen Sebelius resigning, Milbank wondered why the Republicans on the Hill do not target her more considering she was the one who implemented Obamacare.
... so let's compare Holder to Kathleen Sebelius, who has presided over Obamacare which is the thing that has most antagonized the Right and the Republicans over all these years. You're not seeing calls for her impeachment, you're not seeing the same level of personal vitriol. So I think, that's why again it's fair to ask the question, and let every individual say why it is that they have that particular antipathy toward this attorney general and toward this president and why not, say, toward Kathleen Sebelius who they're obviously at odds with.
Milbank's own employer, The Washington Post, had an article in October of 2013 naming more than thirty House Republicans who were calling for Sebelius to resign.
The GOP should call on the black caucus to help take down Sebilius.
No matter how hard I try, I can never even begin to think like a leftist. Even if I pretend to, the “logic” is so convoluted that any thinking individual would go nuts trying to figure out their mindset.
Fools, just stunningly foolish. It is now obvious the ONLY thing left in the quiver is RACISM! Reckoning is approaching fellas and this is evidence that judging distance in a dark tunnel as the train approaches is not a very easy thing to do.
Just keep standing between the tracks Dana. You will see the light both before and after the train passes.
To me, at least, she seems much more to be arrogant and incompetent, with known values from when she was appointed...much moreso that flatly criminal and corrupt.
That's what I was thinking. Even "our" GOP politicians can't be that dumb. They should be going after Sebelius, right now. Obama and the black caucus won't defend her like they do brothers and sisters. Send her to jail. Then, when they support Holder etc, point out the hypocrisy.
Lois Lerner must have some African in her, then if the GOP is after her. /sarcasm
Falling asleep with the radio on last night and drowsily thought I heard a newscaster say she was going to resign. Any truth to that?
You’re right. Very different circumstance.
He must mean Wapoo won’t go after her.

Opps it’s a She
She’s been thrown to the wolves as a distraction. Obozo and Holder are so incompetent that they welcome diversions such as this.
Sebilius has resigned.
So the Right hounds this woman for months because of her inept “management”, she finally gives up and resigns (is forced out) and the charge is that we won’t go after her because she’s white. What does Milbank want us to do, go to her house with torches?
Wow! They never quit. Play the race card at every turn. Unreal.
Okay, I get it. Race is why the House is going to let Lerner off scott free.
All the more reason they should go after Sebelius BECAUSE she is white. Make an example of her and then turn the guns were they need to be directed.
Could that possibly be because congress cannot impeach a cabinet official?
That is their exact intent and strategy. Confuse the idiots, frustrate the thinking, and walk away as they ponder what you just sad or did.
