They were supposed to give preference to non-residents?
That does not make sense
So how about opening up college grants and scholarships that are only available to blacks >>!?
Racists, all of them.
Where in the US Constitution does it say the Gov will provide a house for someone?
let’s give preference to people who haven’t even applied yet, or preference to people who haven’t eve been born yet /sarc
Did Obama win in Oyster Bay?
If so, suck it up.
From a town known as Oyster Bay Long Island
Rode a boy with a six pack in his hand
and his daring life of crime
made him a legend in his time
east and west of the Rio Grande.
From a time when Billy Joel actually wrote well-constructed music....
Quick google on this:
Oyster Bay. “Estimated median household income in 2011: $71,369 “
No way it’s $35 G
THis is the home of Locust Valley.
It’s old money, settled by the finance, and railroad guys. The Vanderbilts, Morgans, Carnegies.
No.
Blacks are welcome, like anywhere, just like in the presidency. It is a haven for limo Learjet liberals. Must by annoying for those who thought Obama would pave the way and get them in everywhere, just like how Obama thought it would be easy being pres. It looks easy, just hang around spending other people’s money, how hard can that be.
One of his best.....”Songs In the Attic” is a Desert Island Disc for me.
This may be a big hit on the DOJ budget. I guess little will remain for prosecutions of the lower priority items, like investigating the various contempt charges against their leader holder and the runt lerner.
“east and west of the Rio Grande”
I thought that river ran east/west...

Yes well. My GAD is broken then. There’s no humans involved in this fight. May they both lose.
But Section 8 in the middle of town would be great! Serve them right too.
Yes it does, from their viewpoint.
How dare people want to live together without the politically correct cultural diversity!
Being forced to accept families from outside your community goes hand-in-hand with Federal funds. Once to take the Emperor’s coin you have to do what the Emperor wants you to do.
So, what’s the long term impact? IMHO there will be fewer and fewer communities that will accept Federal money, even matching funds, if they have to “import” people to achieve the Federally mandated cultural diversity.
Who will suffer? The community’s poor and elderly. Not the federal and State bureaucrats.
My only question on this issue is - Was the Federally and State cultural diversity mandates announced prior to the funding or after?
If there aren’t any blacks in town they should just get President Obama to send over some of his illegal alien relatives who have been mooching off taxpayers for years.
For too many blacks, the lack of special treatment based on their race constitutes racism.
It does seem that way -
holding everyone to the same standard,
offering no special privileges to any,
applying laws equally to all,
will result in accusations of “racism”.
Funny you should mention that, we're currently fighting that fight in my town.
Fortunately, the town council (and frankly, most of the town) is fairly conservative, and the zoning ordinances haven't passed. But that's not without a whole lot of trying by a couple of real estate developers and a double handful of liberal loudmouths.
Loudmouths: "You don't want Sec 8 housing because you hate black and hispanic people!!!" Rest of the town: "No, we don't want Section 8 housing because of all the attendant problems that go along with it."
Interesting fact that I didn't know.... there are three apartment complexes in our fair town. One is Sec 8, I don't know about the other two. From 2011 to March of 2014, the apartment complexes generated 690 "criminal" calls to police. Everything from "Domestic Disturbance" to Drugs, Rape and Murder.
The "main" housing development in our town has about twice as many houses as the apartment complexes have units. Over the same time frame, they generated eleven (11) "criminal" calls to the police.
Amazed me. I figured that the "high density" apartments would be worse, but not 140 times worse. If that's not an argument against Section 8, I dunno what is.
