At the time, I was a teen and against homos being persecuted (physically harmed) or put in prison simply for being homos. I underestimated the strength of the lib/homosexual lobby. Soon we will be at the point where, like Bob Hope joked, homosexuality will be compulsory. Then the shooting will start.
There’s a movie, can’t think of the name of it, where a guy who is frozen comes unfrozen and he missed a lot of time. He has no problem with anything technological, picks it right up instantly, but he’s aghast at how the culture has changed. He is shocked, e.g., at girls using foul language, and of course there are other things too. Can’t remember. And this was decades ago.
