NRA ENDORSES MCCONNELL IN KENTUCKY GOP PRIMARY
AP/Breitbart | 4/11/2014 | staff

U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell now has an endorsement to go with his gun.

The National Rifle Association's political action committee announced Friday it has endorsed McConnell in the May 20 Republican primary. McConnell made headlines last month when he appeared at the Conservative Political Action Conference waving a rifle over his head. The rifle was a lifetime achievement award McConnell presented to U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn of Oklahoma.

In a news release, NRA Political Victory Fund chairman Chris Cox called McConnell a true champion of the Second Amendment.

Likely Democratic nominee Alison Lundergan Grimes mocked McConnell, saying he was holding the gun wrong and tweeted: "KY women do it better."

The Gun Owners of America has endorsed McConnell's GOP primary challenger Matt....

No flame war with me Max. The NRA has as a board member, you read that right....a board member!!!, (and has had for a long time), an operative involved with the Muslim Brotherhood and also a VERY heavy hitter for the Muslim terrorist front group, C.A.I.R.............Grover Norquist. This/their endorsement is just more proof that the NRA is not what some believe it to be.

You’re confusing whores with sluts. Whores and prostitutes are the same thing.

Regretably, the NRA endorses lousy candidates all the time. They are especially ready to endorse powerful politicians with lots of clout, pretty much regardless of what they stand for.

They support abortion, if it's done with a gun.

Didn't the NRA also "endorsed" Sen. "Dirty" Reid, too?..in his last election?
I guess it's logical, Reid wants to show-off his Mitch "the *itch" McConnell.
..anyone know when Pelosi brings out, SotH Johnny "Walker/*HIC!*" Boehmer.

It is the reason I left ‘em 5 years ago when I found out about it. When I called to confirm if it was true, (Hoping it was not), and questioned an rep/agent of theirs, I heard this exact reply: “Sir, the NRA does not care what it’s board members do on their own time”. End quote. Nice huh? GOA for me!!

Here we go again. Should the NRA examine the broader spectrum of candidate issues or be constrained to the 2nd Amendment?

Arg.
