The Senate Intelligence Committee has opened an investigation into how McClatchy obtained the classified conclusions of a report into the CIAs use of waterboarding and other harsh interrogation tactics, the panels chairwoman said Friday.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., said she was also referring the case to the Justice Department for investigation.
If someone distributed any part of this classified report, they broke the law and should be prosecuted, Feinstein said in a prepared statement. The committee is investigating this unauthorized disclosure and I intend to refer the matter to the Department of Justice.

Hmmm...sounds like some sort of quid pro quo by Feinstein who was only recently howling in fury at the CIA over intimidation tactics against her staff. Now she’s offering her people up on a platter?
oh boy ... here we go ... Am certain we can all trust DiFi to tell the truth.
Considering the squeakyclean Govt of the past several years, this corruption is both hugh and series.
Scooter Libby was probably involved.
DiFi of the “calico curtains”? Nothing but the truth.
Wonder who DiFi will try to off? Dang, am suspecting an innocent person will go down.
You are now “non-journalists” with no press protections.
Maybe she should get her hubby, Richard Blum, a no-bid contract to do the investigation? He’s probably too busy managing the contract to get rid of closed post offices. /sarc

And yet there’s never been any investigation of leaks by leaky Leahy or any other corrupt Demwit.
