This might be true, but then there’s the gimmick of the sacred tortoise in this story...so if they declare that, then you can’t build nothing on the site. Course, they might divide it and say only the sacred tortoise empire is only on one side of the affected area.
I think the bigger part of this whole story is a five-billion dollar solar park in Nevada....which Reid’s son is the main player on...not the ranch. I read somewhere where the state utility guys commented that they really didn’t want to be forced into accepting this much power onto their grid, for the price they would normally have to pay. Unless they opt into it....this whole thing falls apart.
From the locals, it is falling apart and is essentially dead.
Isn't it amazing that Reid can be openly corrupt and filter millions to his son in the open, our country can be sliding into oblivion with debt, and we the people cannot do a thing about it? Meanwhile, the MSM runs interference for the corrupt politicians?
Have you been through the desert in California and seen the thousands of windmills on the precious desert?
Eagles Hawks and every other bird by the hundreds are being killed, have you heard any howls of protests by the animal lovers?Didn’t think so.

The tortoise is just the MacGuffin. The real object is the sweet deal that Reid has made with this Chinese company.
