I keep a Malinois ( or it keeps me ) . By far the best canine breed I have ever lived with and I have had many . Malinios are brave , loyal , smart ( freaky smart ) and live to please their master , their handler . They are high energy animals , especially in their first 5 years . Yet they mellow with age . Best darned friend I ever had ( including humans) Great family dogs . Highly socializable . No worries about children , they are their best protector ever . God Bless Malinois

You love dogs. I like you. I don’t care for people who don’t like dogs.

My mother-in-law doesn’t like them. I have four dogs. She doesn’t come over very often.

Good.

What a good boy. I’m so glad he’s going to be retired with someone who loves him. But I’ll bet a peanut butter and banana cake is going to give him a messy bottom.

I have two dogs, a tough medium sized one and a little rat-like kinda thing who is very sweet but not much in the dog department, if you know what I mean. I usually prefer big energetic dogs, though, and I dream I having a Malinois someday. Bless your pup.

I have a Mali as well. They are not for casual dog owners, but good ones are high energy, clingy with family and kids, fearless protectors (and known as maligators for their bite) Very smart and trainable, but over the top in most categories, but they are not for everyone, I think you must be a pretty capable trainer and disciplinarian or they will quickly overwhelm you, in other words if you have control of them, they are wonderful companions, who will go to any extreme for you.
