A mention of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R), a potential 2016 presidential contender, brought boos from a conservative crowd in New Hampshire on Saturday.

Speaking at the New Hampshire Freedom Summit, a gathering of conservative activists and figures organized by Americans for Prosperity and Citizens United, billionaire Donald Trump said Bush’s recent comments on immigrants coming to the U.S. as an “act of love” were “out there.”

“You know, I heard Jeb Bush the other day,” he said, with quiet boos and angry murmurs erupting from the crowd at the mention of Bush’s name.

Another Bush? Why? The Kennedy kid couldn’t fly and his elders were corrupt. Bush 43 was a socialist.

We need what America always needs, a conservative.

The rabid hateful bushbots destroyed the credibility of the conservative opposition to big government.

The tools worshipped him instead of opposing his drunken-sailor spending.

It's possible to be a socialist without actually being a socialist.

I agree that George Junior was probably not a socialist.

He may have been a tongue-tied moron, amnesty-treason hustler, and Saudi-king kisser...but out-and-out socialist - probably not.

Why was that statement false? Bush was a socialist. He believe in big government. If Bush’s statement about needing socialism to save capitalism when he pushed for the bailouts wasn’t enough to convince you that he’s a socialist, then nothing will

An individual that believes in the ability and/or the authority of government to manipulate, control, direct, channel, influence or otherwise engineer the population, is the definition of a Socialist. How does that not describe President Bush. He let us all down in a big way.

No. His family is cozy with the One World Government crowd, but not Socialist. Bush falls into the same trap all big money, high power people do. They don't use their heads as much as they should.

What naivete you express. H..W. was born and bred in the Rockefeller wing of the Grand Ole Plantation. This was the same wing that worked harder against Reagan’s policies then the rats. Then, as soon as his 8 years were up, H.W. ran back to the Statist, Corporatist, Ruling class policies faster than you can say Jackie Robinson. These are the same people who put an end to the brief respite of Newt’s success and, now, go by what we commonly call Republicans (GOP-E).
