Bernie Sanders seeks to pull Democrats left in 2016 primary

WASHINGTON — Bernie Sanders has been calling activists and traveling the country with a question: Could he vault from his US Senate seat representing what is fondly called the People’s Republic of Vermont to the White House?

His next stop in search of an answer is the first presidential primary state of New Hampshire, where this weekend he plans to bring his campaign complaint about America becoming an “oligarchic society.’’

The lawmaker, who is possibly the most liberal of all members of Congress — and the only one to call himself a democratic socialist — said in an interview this week that he is sincere in his quest to pull the presidential campaign dialogue hard to the left. He said he will make a decision about getting into the 2016 presidential contest by January.

“It would be a serious campaign,” said the Vermont independent, who was elected to the House in 1990 and the Senate in 2006. “What I am proposing is a political revolution in this country.”

His chances of winning the nomination would be rated as slim, at best, if he got in. But Sanders undoubtedly would inject liberal passion into a Democratic primary. He also could challenge Senator Elizabeth Warren, a Massachusetts Democrat, for unofficial leadership of the nation’s progressives.

How can they go farther to the left without becoming Communists? That will be a tough one to pull off without anyone noticing.

Marxists like my sister and her husband appreciate Obama, but they adore Sanders and Warren.

“How can they go farther to the left without becoming Communists?”

They’re already full-blown Communists but lack the government mechanisms that would allow them to be the Communists they want to be and can be.

(Inside every Marxist is a re-education camp counselor waiting to come out.)

IMHO

The dems are commies. They are smart enough to hide what they are but liberals are hard core pinkos.

Ask your sister the following..”If Communism is so good, why
did Communist countries of Europe have to lock the population in, and shoot those that tried to leave?”

The fundamental meme of my sister's worldview is the notion of the eternal struggle of the oppressor v the oppressed (classic Marxist stuff); this is the filter through which she interprets all current events. Sanders and Warren are very good at articulating this worldview, much better than O is.

I think it would be great if Sanders and/or Warren would form an ultra progressive party, maybe name it the Democratic Progressive Party or some such. Such a party would probably peel off somewhere around 3 to 5 percent of voters from the Dem’s which would ensure GOP victories much the same as the Libertarians have been doing to the GOP for years.

A Communist is a liberal with absolute power control. The liberals in America control the White House, Senate and the Media. If they had control of House and Supreme Court, re-education camps would be in use right now.

A Bernie Sanders candidacy would be helpful to Republicans in 2016, as it forces Hillary Clinton to use resources to defend her left flank. Even more helpful if he runs as a third party candidate.

Democratic Socialist is the “polite” term for Marxist. Just do a check on the many “Democratic Socialist” parties and governments throughout history and they are all Marxist or Leninist-Stalinist.

Had Bernie been around in 1918 he would have been in the front row of those who slaughtered the Romanov family.

It looks like Bernie got the headline she wanted.

Don’t be fooled - he’s only there for ONE REASON, and that is to make Hillary look like a “moderate”, in comparison. Bill Clinton did the same thing in 1992, when he ran against a number of whack-jobs.

Standard operating procedure for them, and unfortunately quite effective.
