Alas, another reporter asked me the same question I have been repeatedly asked for the past five years. “As an African-American, why are you a member of the Tea Party?” It dawned on me to ask the reporter, “If you are a thinking patriotic American, why are you not a member of the Tea Party?”
It is stunning that reporters cannot see the absurdity and racism against white voters in their assumption that Tea Party membership (pushback against Obama's agenda) equals racism.

The Left uses this one constantly: Opposing 0Bama, Opposing Holder ———Racist! You’d think the Left got 0Bama elected so that any policy opposing the Left could be labeled Racist. Well, all that means is that 0bama was nominated and elected to serve the Democratic party as a tool.

You’d be surprised by the number of real racists I know who love Obama and called me a racist for disagreeing with him. As far as Hillary being another first for the democrats and whose female gender alone will therefore trump any GOP presidential candidate, I think that depends wholly on whom the Republicans run in the general election.
I believe that non democrats should select a candidate who is first pro American, intelligent and experienced as far as is possible for the office of US President, and has a background of toughness and commitment to the job at hand.
Ted Cruz is my current choice for a President who meets this criteria and as a bonus, is of Latin American heritage. We jump ahead of the democrats who are currently focused on gender and race as ruling their political agendas and after Hillary, next is Latino, Asian etc. etc
