Pro-lifers and conservatives are cheering the news that Kathleen Sebelius has resigned her post as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. Sebelius, whose reputation was sullied following the massive network problems which crippled the rollout of the Obamacare website, resigned April 11 after five years at HHS.
But wait: Arent the celebrations perhaps a little premature? What do we really know about President Obamas nominee to replace Sebelius in the post, Sylvia Mathews Burwell?
She comes from a left-leaning organization. Before her current position as director of the Office of Management and Budget, Ms. Burwell was Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. During her ten-year stint there, she focused on poverty through agricultural development, financial services for the poor, and global libraries. Not to be overlooked, though, is the Gates Foundations support for easily accessed contraception and abortion. Although Melinda Gates has stated publicly that her foundation will not provide support for abortion, the Foundations third international family planning conference, held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, offered six roundtable discussions promoting abortion.

Hmmmm..........Sounds very familiar?????? The Dunham / Geitner connection part two.
One-woman death panel?
Shes not afraid to take decisive action. But critics have criticized her policy implementation when the Congress failed to approve a budget in 2013. It was Burwell who initiated the process that closed national parks, visitors centers and even the panda-cam at the National Zoo. In an email to executive departments and agencies, she wrote: Agencies should now execute plans for an orderly shutdown due to the absence of appropriations.
It is my understanding that this included the shut-down or barricading of the WWII Memorial in Washington DC.
She’s a stinker ...
She’s also a Rhodes Scholar.
You know the American people are in deep trouble when Barry’s toads in his state controlled “media” get down on their knees and start worshipping and singing praises to one of Barry’s political nominees. It’s called the commie ‘RAT political BS syndrome. Worse than being just mentally challenged.
No kidding. Always thought Washerwoman might be fun once you got her plastered, but this one, not so much. Strong enough beer googles are not made...
A single person shut down the entire U.S. government for the first time in 17 years.
Not a congressman, but an unelected woman named Sylvia Burwell who, as the relatively new director of the Office of Management and Budget, sent the email that initiated the process that has closed national parks, visitors centers and even the panda-cam at the National Zoo.
Both look like a clone of Helen Thomas’ ugly sister.
I wasn't. I always look ahead to the devil I don't know, regardless of the devil I know when this administration plays Musical Chairs. He should get to the point, remembering presumption is a sin.
And how much do we need to know about any of this administration's officials. They each reflect one or more of the erroneous Old New Left worldviews shared by El Jefe.
....the same woman who ordered the shutdown of the war memorials during the so-called government shutdown last year.
That’s what you get if you cross John Effin Kerry with The Wash Rag.
Yeah I see that too. She’s got the botox chin of Lurch.
If she is Obama’s choice, you know she is worthless and not qualified to do anything worthwhile. That is the fact and the truth.
With an uhealthy dose of horseface Kim Raver from “24” throw in for bad measure.
