Obama to Spend $1.5 Billion Promoting ObamaCare
Frontpage Mag ^ | April 11, 2014 | Daniel Greenfield

The promotional budget for ObamaCare alone would cover much of the actual medical expenses for the people involved. But this was never about paying for medical care, it was about taking over health care for political reasons.

New Congressional estimates show the Obama administration is requesting another $774 million for Obamacare “outreach” and advertising in the 2015 budget. This is on top of the estimated $684 million they spent this year and the $52 million they spent on high-profile ads with athletes and Hollywood celebrities. That means the combined total in taxpayer funded advertising will be over $1.5 billion.

Barack Obama said last week, “We didn’t make a hard sell. We didn’t have billions of dollars in commercials like some critics did.”

"We didn’t have billions of dollars in commercials like some critics did.”"

But he had plenty of funds for BLM agents to harass a decent rancher, kill his cattle, and generally make huge asses of themselves. The whole world watched.

Taxes, fines, and promotions, and racketeering.
Higher premiums. Fewer docs.

But no, absolutely NO healthcare.

Why? The idiot government won’t even allow people to sign up. Not even for private plans. “Open enrollment” is closed until next year. Is this any way to run a business? Obama don’t know sh, er, shinola about running a business. Or a country.

A great chance for favored crony capitalists to take in a lot of Federale money....While doing the saintly task of 0Kare out-reach.

Get rich doing outreach. To get these contracting gigs it helps to be black or Hispanic. Female too due to so many many “women’s issues” like getting everyone else to pay for your birth control

We are being boiled alive slowly like a lobster here. There is no end to the theft from the productive private sector

Will ACORN successors and La Raza and other race baiter orgs get some of this outreach largess? Of course!

ObamaCare is spending more of our money. We need to tell this Marxist to pound salt. This election needs the start of returning our nation to a nation of freedoms.

This election say no to Marxists, RINOs and Commies.

There is only one way to make this “turd” of a bill popular. Get rid of any mandates. People do not want to be forced to buy what they do not want.

If Obama does this, the bill would not be unpopular. Hey it does not work either way, it just destroyed US health care.

What they do know is that this “Brave new World” can be achieved by using the media and exploiting “The Century of Self”.

It’s all PR all the time.

Our idiot government bureaucrats KNOW their AUDIENCE.

An audience that is happy to fall in line with virtually anything that keeps them from being seen as “certain” or “judgmental”. To voice opposition to Zerocare is to go against what is in “our/their” best interests.

They, this administration more than any other, have adopted a tactic of trying to convince people that they are not cool if they oppose what “everybody knows” is best.

To simply dig into the details is “uncool”.

When the rubber hits the road (higher cost and less care) they/zombies are “told” that they are alone. Told, that they need to support the masses and any opposition will be considered un-PC.

They need to be part of an endless number of “protected groups”.

At the average cost of $27K / yr of med school (non-resident to be conservative), and typical 3 year med school, that works out to about 9000 doctors who could be trained free of charge.

I guarantee you there are more then that many who apply and are capable but cannot go because of two few slots, not enough money, etc.

Instead the SOB and his dim witted buddies give the money to people like themselves: hucksters, propagandists, political hacks.

Or 17,000 new IRS agents to lower the boom on the hapless marks (um, citizens) to pay up on the new racket for keeping his friends employed.

But not one new doctor or nurse.

The news isn’t that Obama spent it. The news is that the “conservatives” in the HOR didn’t defund it.

If the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010” were a good, workable piece of legislation, then it would sell itself on its merits.

But there is the sticking point - there are very few merits.

Rather like the ignition switch problems with Chevrolet Cobalt models. Works fine as long as there is no weight put on the key ring itself (analogous to having no claims under the “health insurance” policy), but when it fails (a circumstance that arises more often than many now realize), it causes a whole series of linked problems, ending in major damage or even some instances of serious injury and death. The promise of saving a few pennies spawns a vast monetary loss somewhere down the road.

There is some sort of connection between these two serious problems, not only in that there is the potential for mischief, but also the cumulative effects when failure occurs.

The Current Regime took over both General Motors and a large portion of the medical services reimbursement systems in this country.

Naw, that can’t be it. Government planning never goes wrong, and even if it does, it certainly is not the fault of the government, is it?

Don't give it to them, simple enough.
