We have reached the point where we need specific laws limiting the use of technology to spy on citizens.
I could support a very limited deployment of a system like this to clean up high crime areas like Detroit.

We have reached the point where we need specific laws limiting the use of technology to spy on citizens. That won't happen, but I'd settle for parity... we get to use the same technology to keep track of government employees, bureaucrats and elected officials.
