A man convicted of possessing illegal ammunition now says he is being investigated for his taxes.
Last month, Mark Witaschek was convicted of possessing illegal ammunition over an inoperable shell, a legal gun holster and a box of antique bullets for a muzzle-loading rifle.
The next day, Witaschek said authorities went to his office, asking for payroll documents and other information concerning his taxes. He said that nobody has officially talked to him or his representative yet.

Wonder if they found split shot in your car. That is round shot split for clamping on a fishing line.
Wonder what they would do if they found a box of chrome plated nuts which can be used as shot in a shotgun?
A box of wire nails is nasty in a muzzle loading firearm, and especially a shotgun!
As I read this I am looking at a box of .58 cal hollow base cast bullets I’ve had for about 30 years.
I don’t even have a rifle for it and someday will melt them down into .50 cal round balls. They work great in a sling shot!
Hopefully you can contain those hunks of lead in that box without them getting out and killing someone.

Knives, hammers, baseball bats, machetes might jump out of someone’s toolboxes or drawers and do the same...they’re gonna have to outlaw them all....
The Founders would be SICKENED by this development.
And of course, this man will never win in court, because DC does not recognize the Heller or the McDonald decisions.

Don’t understand the reference. Nixon threatened to use the IRS but never did. Don’t really see the comparison.
