Finland Launches New Range of Erotic Gay Stamps
Breitbart London ^ | 4/15/2014 | ANDRE WALKER

Posted on 04/15/2014 3:23:30 AM PDT by markomalley

Finland has launched a range of erotic gay stamps, featuring a man in police uniform sitting on the shoulders of a naked man, and another with a man looking in between some naked legs. The stamps are to commemorate the life and work of the artist Touko Laaksonen, more commonly known as Tom of Finland, reports Pink News.

The stamps, which will be available from the Autumn, are being launched by the Finnish Postal Service, Itella. In a statement they said: “His emphatically masculine homoerotic drawings have attained iconic status in their genre and had an influence on, for instance, pop culture and fashion.

"In his works, Tom of Finland utilized the self-irony and humor typical of subcultures. The drawings on the stamp sheet represent strong and confident male figures typical of their designer.”

Oh Elke! One of two beautiful women I was in love with in my teen years! The other was Ann Margret!

And to think he was in “The Green Berets” with John Wayne. I wonder if The Duke knew?

I think people knew who was queer back then, but they didn't talk about it in public.

Jeez look at this, what Takei said when he came out

"It's not really coming out, which suggests opening a door and stepping through. It's more like a long, long walk through what began as a narrow corridor that starts to widen."

Eek!

Thank you. :)

Are you watching? I’m liking Billy Bob so far.

I’m gonna watch the replay at 10:35. I was watching “Chicago Fire”, I’m a sucker for a show set here.

??? What’s that? A reality show? Never heard of it.

Lots of action so far on “Fargo”.

No, it’s about firefighters. They have “Chicago PD” too with a couple female cops who look more like models than any Miss Piggy I’ve ever seen. ;d

I hate reality tv, unless they have Chef Gordon Ramsay yelling at people.

Well, ok then!

The only reality show I ever watched was “My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss” -10 years ago on Fox; it was cancelled before they finished...

Fargo was GREAT, loved it. Highly entertaining.

That fat chick is more what a real Miss Piggy (policewoman) looks like, unlike Sophia Bush and Marina Squerciati (she guest starred as Phillip’s old GF from Russia on “The Americans”) of “Chicago PD”.

As for reality TV, I watched the first season of “Survivor” that crap got old fast. I never watch “American Idol” or any of those. Once, years ago, I saw this parody of American idol were they chose the WORST performers and lied to them all and told them they were good, hilarious.

Yes, me likely “Fargo”! Billy Bob’s the devil.

Miss Piggy: I agree.

I’ve never watched one second of either “Survivor” or “American Idol”; worthless drivel.

“Superstar” sounds funny.

“...I wonder if The Duke knew?...”

I’m sure he did. But the Duke was a class act; he probably said “What you do is your business. Keep it that way.”

As for Finland... hell, I don’t what to say about it, except this is what happens when normal folk allow the freak show out into the sunlight.

RE: The Duke. You’re right - a class act. I was very young when he died, so I don’t remember. But, I bet the tonality of it was on par as when RR died - a piece of the country disappeared.

Too bad The Duke didn’t live to see RR elected.

Finland: Hot chicks.
