Ukrainian troops are storming an airfield in the eastern city of Kramatorsk, said anti-Maidan activists as cited by RIA Novosti. The activists added that several people were injured.

Ukrainian troops approached the military airfield in armored personnel carriers between the eastern cities of Kramatorsk and Slavyansk, the people’s militia located at the airfield told RIA Novosti on the phone.

“They started negotiating with the people’s militia, which is in control of the airfield. The shooting started unexpectedly. There are injured among the people’s militia, and there may be deaths,” they said.

Other members of the militia have blocked the entrance to Kramatorsk and are ready to defend the city, the activists added.

At the same time, the eastern city of Slavyansk is being raided by Ukrainian troops, the head of the Donbass people’s militia, Sergey Tsyplakov, told RIA Novosti.

“Currently there is a major attack on Slavyansk, armored personnel vehicles are entering the city… there are many troops. The men are getting ready to defend [the city],” he said.

In turn, the Ukrainian media, quoting the Ministry of Defense, announced a special operation in Kramatorsk on Tuesday. However, they provided no further details.

Dnipropetrovsk promises Putin a “second Stalingrad”
Posted on April 15, 2014 by marquepro

Deputy Governor of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Administration Hennadiy Korban

A special forces battalion called Dnipro is being formed in Dnipropetrovsk, announced Deputy Governor of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Administration Hennadiy Korban, as reported by TSN, April 14. According to Korban, the formation of the battalion will begin this week and the selected soldiers will not represent any political organizations.

Korban said that organizers are especially interested in volunteers with battle experience and previous experience in armed forces or law enforcement agencies. The salary of an ordinary soldier in this elite unit will be not less that the UAH equivalent of US $1,000. A commander’s salary will be the equivalent of US $5,000-10,000. Partial funding will come from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the rest from the Dnipropetrovsk Governor’s team,” he said.

For the post of commander, experienced officers –”Afghans (Ed. veterans of the war in Afghanistan)– will be considered and will be selected according to their military abilities and accomplishments and not on the basis of relationships and connections, Korban explained.

“The battalion will be armed with weapons from warehouses of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Operations will be planned and carried out in collaboration with government agencies. The Governor of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Ihor Kolomoysky will have personal control over the actions of the Dnipro special forces battalion ” he said.

“First of all, I want to warn all these so-called ‘green men’ that, in contrast to others, we are not cowards, and any attempt to seize buildings of the Security Service or the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be met immediately with lethal force. Anyone who wants to arrange a war in this region needs to know that Dnipropetrovsk will become a second Stalingrad for them, but this battle will be won by the Ukrainian people,” he said.

As previously reported, Ihor Kolomoysky funded fuel and body armor for military units of the Southern Operational Command in March.

Ukraine does not have special forces nor the army any more, they have been severed in half by dissertations and lack of proper training. so Kiev regime is building “National Guard” out of nationalists and neo-nazis, similar what Croatia did back in 90es. So this is a civil war now and not regular troops against rebels.

I like when they call them...."pro-Russians". These folks ARE Russians.

This is Ukrainians killing Russians who live in Ukraine.

And all this started with a simple coup by the same people of the 2004 Revolution.....a few months prior to scheduled democratic elections.

Kiev regime, as I have said, is trying to form armed forces by enlisting all kind of people.

It’s the regular Russian Army in Ukraine. Plenty of proof now. Why are you are being willful blind?

Air attacks against separatists. I was afraid of this.

This now gives Putin the justification to invoke THE OBAMA DOCTRINE, and declare a “No Fly Zone” over Eastern Ukraine.

Using Obama in Libya as the precedent, that would mean he can also bomb with impunity, while putting Special Forces/Contractor boots on the ground for “Recon” and “training the Rebels”.

Obamassss Chickenzzzzzz are about to come home roosting, I fear.

Former Ambassador to Russia Predicts ‘Scary’ and ‘Bloody’ Day in Ukraine

Michael McFaul, until recently the Obama White House’s man in Moscow, said during a Tuesday morning MSNBC appearance that he is very concerned about what might transpire if and when Ukrainian forces clash with the protestors to take back control of the eastern parts of the country.

“I think this is a very scary day,” said McFaul, now a professor at Stanford University.

He said clashes between Ukrainian CT forces and pro-Russia groups could produce “a very bloody moment.”

So wherever a Russian goes the people must bend to their will? If they’re really Russians, go home to Russia. If they want to live in Ukraine, be a Ukrainian.
