A new Citizens United Political Victory Fund poll shows that Republican Arizona voters have had it with Sen. John McCain, even though the senator has signaled his intentions to run for a sixth term in 2016.
According to the poll, 64.2 percent of likely GOP primary voters said that they are ready for someone new to take the job and only 29.3 percent signaled a willingness to re-elect McCain.
The poll also shows that McCain loses to other potential Arizona Repubican candidates in a primary.
McCain loses to Gov. Jan Brewer 47.7 percent to 29 percent and to Rep. Matt Salmon 48.2 percent to 30.3 percent. Rep. David Schweikert earns 40.1 percent support from those polled with McCain at 33.9 percent.
The poll was conducted by The Polling Company Inc. for the Citizens United Political Victory Fund. It surveyed 600 likely 2016 Republican primary voters in Arizona and has a 4.1 percent margin of error.

Goofball polls. Saying 64% want him gone says nothing. What if 32% want a conservative and 32% want someone even more ‘moderate’?
He’ll switch to Dem & change his name Juan McBurro just to spite us.
He needs a candidate to win statewide in 2014 for AG, SoS or Governor.
Kyl and McCain are having problems finding that candidate.
Got news for them: He’s been gone for a long time.
In 2000, when he ran and lost the primary v Bush, FR called his bus the McInsane express
“I wanted him gone in 2008”
Didn’t he recently say he might consider another run for President in 2016?
Perhaps he is the establishment stealth candidate if Jeb decides not to run.
Only 64%?
Welcome to our beautiful state! Quite different than Alaska in several ways, though, lol.
to get their names out there
such a sad, sad World..I have not felt safe since GWB left office and Hussein took over, I feared him while he was running and lying and now he is a freighting head of the Free Nation, AMERICA
Me too, right after I saw his imbecilic and insulting “build the dang fence” ad.
But I don’t live in Arizona, the people who do re-elected him.
'bout damn time.
Here’s hoping.
He should be stripped of all money for his political service.
Service, as in to the people.
In any event he won’t go hungry.
John,as a child I respected you.
I wonder if this will finally get Sen. Juan McPain to change parties and finally become a Donkey? Then he can cement is reputation in the media as a true âmaverickâ. (Anybody know if Gov. Chris “Krispy Kreme” Christy made his switch to Donkey yet?)

Yes, much warmer and much less snow! I can ride the Harley 12 months out of the year instead of 3.

And GOP-e still doesn’t get it.
