It’s OK. Fake but accurate.

Or was that Dan Rather’s bye-line?

How did they work this into MH370? Does Landrieu offer her theory in the ad?

Having some difficulty viewing this. Are you saying that she re-enacted herself in a Senate Hearing, ie put on make up dolled up her hair and then posed with actors? If so, then this has got to be the biggest farce that I’ve ever heard of. If any republican pulled this stunt you’d be hearing about it for weeks.

The only thing missing in this video is needle and thread, to sew up the sides of the people laughing their butts off.

Watched MSNBC this morning, Eugene Robinson said this will have no effect on the election. She will still win, maybe by just 8 votes but it’s in the bag.

Speaking of jokes, this is my favorite today.

Did she use a still background poster for this phony vid ad with those two actors in fake sleeping positions.(so movement wasn't required in it?)

This sounds like CNN/MSNBC/NBC/ABC/CBS/NYTIMES/WASHPOST are trying to come to the rescue of Titanic, the sinking ship which is Mary Landrieu's political career...

If I were her opponent I would run ads with REAL videos of her lieing to everyone about keeping your doctor etc... with a scrolling message across the bottom saying these ARE NOT ACTORS this is the REAL MARY LIEING TO YOU.

Then end with voice over saying Mary Landrieu is bad enough in person we don’t need actors to prove it....Just listen to her lie for yourself!

March 14th, 2014

Mary Landrieu Polling Continues Downward Spiral In Louisiana

46% of the likely to vote crowd went with Cassidy. Only 42% went with Landrieu

67% supported the pipeline, with only 12% opposing. Since this poll came out, Landrieu has attacked with renewed vigor to get the Keystone approved.

http://www.redstate.com/diary/joesquire/2014/03/14/mary-landrieu-polling-continues-downward-spiral-louisiana/

Sens. Mark Begich of Alaska, Mark Pryor of Arkansas, and Kay Hagan of North Carolina–all in the same boat–are also pushing hard for the pipeline’s approval, and signed a letter to the president urging approval.

Yes, you can’t use film of actual senate hearings in political advertising or some such, so she re-enacts herself in the ad...

Non starter as far as any meaningful issue, but gives the talking heads something to chatter about.

Hickman Analytics is a Democrat polling organization which has been surveying the swing-state Senate races around the country, and it conducted a poll on the Louisiana Senate race from Feb. 17-24.

What that survey found has to be extremely scary for Mary Landrieu’s camp. If Hickman Analytics’ numbers are valid, she’s all but cooked.

The top line: Bill Cassidy 46, Landrieu 42 among “likely” voters, and – get this – Cassidy by 49-40 among “definite” voters.

What’s worse: Landrieu is upside-down 42-52 on approval.

What’s even worse than that: Landrieu is underwater 36-47 on her re-elect number with “likely” voters, and 35-48 on “definite” voters.

Other interesting numbers: the poll found overwhelming support for fracking (57-15) and the Keystone XL pipeline (67-12), and by a 45-23 margin the respondents said that if President Obama declines to give a permit to the pipeline it would make them less likely to vote for Landrieu.

And as we said, this is from a Democrat firm. The sample for the poll is 47 percent Democrat by registration and 28 percent Republican, which is about what the state’s current registration numbers look like – and by affiliation it’s actually more Democrat than voting patterns indicate: 35 percent Democrat, 30 percent Republican.

And yet they still came up with these numbers.

That look - right there - on Pajama Boy’s face is exactly the sort of look a very liberal guy I used to know would give you when (during an argument) he’d just stopped you dead in your tracks by citing a fact you’d never heard of, and which (you discovered a few minutes later when you had a chance to check it) was totally fabricated, a bald-faced, made-up lie.

Politics aside, who was cooler: Steve McQueen or Paul Newman?

Tough call for me: SM died relatively young (50); PN was racing cars well into his 70’s.

I vote McQueen by a hair.

McQueen, clearly. He just radiated “cool”. “The Sand Pebbles” is one of my favorite movies of all time.

But Newman was definitely a good actor; “Cool Hand Luke,” and “Cat On A Hot Tin Roof” were good roles for him.

But I admit I have a difficult putting politics aside anymore. We are where we are BECAUSE our side put politics aside; the other guys NEVER did, or do.

I wanted a 1968 Mustang SPECIFICALLY because of “Bullitt”...

Had a 1967 Fastback with the 390 engine (same as the Bullitt” car), then had a 68 GT Fastback with a worked 289 HiPo in it (not the original engine).

Also wanted a 1968 Charger but never got one...

Whenever I watch that flick.... I CRANK up the sound system the moment Bill Hickman snaps on his seat belt in the Charger and guns the engine...

Yeah... it’s STILL badass.

Hickman was a renowned stunt driver, who also did the car chase scene in “The Seven Ups” and other movies back in the day.
