Partisan bickering over immigration reform legislation intensified on Wednesday as President Barack Obama and House of Representatives Republicans accused each other of standing in the way of progress one year after bipartisan Senate legislation was introduced.
"I urge House Republicans to listen to the will of the American people and bring immigration reform to the House floor for a vote," Obama said.
Obama has warned that a failure by Congress to pass legislation could prompt him to look for ways to use his executive powers to make some limited advances on U.S. immigration policy.

“I urge House Republicans to listen to the will of the American people”.
Really? Are YOU listening? If you are, you would know that the AMERICAN PEOPLE don’t want immigration REFORM. WE WANT YOU TO ENFORCE THE CURRENT LAW AND CLOSE THE BORDERS!
and DEPORT the ILLEGAL ALIENS (yeah, that’s right - ILLEGAL. ALIENS. Not “undocumented”). Period.
Wow, dems must really be desperate for new voters before November.
Illegal aliens implies that if they're just made legal, they can stay. The proper term is INVADERS.
This is what happens when you get bartender John Boehner in charge of strategy.
The House controls funding. Though they don’t seem to notice.
They must be either stupid or insane. Amnesty will lead to MILLIONS of permanent Rat voters, making the Rats permanent majorities in the House, Senate and presidency! Does the GOPe not understand this?
find the pea
It hard to fight back when the GOP is bending over holding
FU MomJeans, you worthless POS.
3% want immigration reform. Those 3% have been duped to believe the reform is for a good purpose.
I urge them to listen to the will of the people too, like we made G.W. do. I think the polls showed over 75% opposed to amnesty, must still be a heavy majority against even at this point.
The Democrats should agree to halve immigration and end chain immigration. Then come back in 2021 and debate why we need 12 million Democrat voters.
If you think Cantor’s really mad at Obama over amnesty I have a Kabuki theater to sell you
Neither party listens to the people who ELECTED them!
My fav is "criminal aliens."
