What is missing here is information. The laws and the by-laws are important to what is happening here, and the feds are relying on the fact that no civilians know REALLY what is going on.

At this point in my life, I have some VERY LARGE issues with what has been done to the Bundys over the last few days.

There will be a BBQ there on Friday! Gear up, bring your wives, kids and appetites!

Is it legal to just bury a bunch of cows? Is that the legal manner to dispose of them, you just dig a hole and put them in?

It's just like their convoluted corrupt tax laws they pull out of thin air, to grow this ever expanding govenrment larger and larger...

Aaah - gotcha. I don’t know why they didn’t take them to a Nevada auction yard - no state lines to cross, no governor to stop them at the border.

No auction in any state other than Utah would take the cattle, including Nevada, and the Utah Gov stopped them from crossing state lines so that man/auction couldn’t get them...now that shows solidarity.

The Soviets brought the Polish Military Officers out in the woods and shot them in the nape of the neck, like cattle.

Uncle Joe Stalin's triggerman, Vasili Blokhin, may he burn in hell.

Yes, this is about a sale of public land to the ChiComs where Harry Reid and his son were beneficiaries.

That one will resonate.

There is a lot going on that escapes the consumer. Ranch land in the West is not like anything the east has ever known.

Folks can speculate and pontificate but that doesn’t change the fact that there are laws that existed before the West was settled.

In analyzing the history of farmers/ranchers in the West, I can say, without a doubt, that Harry Reid and his equally evil son are trying to do a bait-and-switch with the Bundys. Reid wants the land for a solar array that the Chinese want to install, but Reid wants to rent it to them, so he can actually take advantage of the water in the aquifers underneath it all. Using the desert tortoise as an excuse...this is the same Harry Reid who has championed the Nevada Test Site... what about all the wildlife he killed there...?

Just as happened in the counties north of us, anyone who votes for that nasty, heartless POS should be pilloried.

Thanks for that. I had not read that all the other auctions refused to take the cattle. I wonder if the low-life guy in Utah that agreed to take the cattle was the same low-life that contracted for nearly 1 mil to round them all up?

The cattle were seized illegally. There was no defiance of the law. Harry Reid is behind this and he DOES NOT CARE who he stomps on. Period.

Suspect it depends on what state you are in.

I have never done it with our cattle. I have burned the carcass on a number of occasions.

Last thing you want to do is spread disease in a herd.

We have blackleg in the soil in some of our pastures. In very wet weather it shows up. Once cattle have it, nothing can save them. Only vaccination prevents it.

yes, they are missing cows. There are lots of dogies (motherless calves) who need to be protected.

I think this is a big mess. Since 50 other trespass ranchers have been squeezed out, apparently Bundy was the only one left with Nevada “trespass cattle” they should be on the endangered species list and severe penalties against BLM for killing many of the last of endangered “trespass cattle” including two $500,000 bulls that were needed to increase the herd.

PETA is weird and might say that’s better than being cow-slaves of the Bundys
