The cult centered on global warming alarmism is getting hot under the collar. People seem to have stopped paying attention, and polls show climate change barely registers on a list of voters' concerns.
This can only mean, as losing politicians like to say, that their message isnt getting through. What to do? Why, shout louder, of course.
A recent story in the New York Times sought to help alarmists raise the decibel level: The countries of the world have dragged their feet so long on global warming that the situation is now critical, experts appointed by the United Nations reported Sunday, and only an intensive worldwide push over the next 15 years can stave off potentially disastrous climatic changes later in the century.

it was freezing here in SE TN this morning...
heavy frost last night..
Al Gore will be handing out blankets...
Climate change -— what a shopworn cliche.
Can we talk about something REAL, fer gawdsakes?
Shouting louder would be an advantage to global warming cult because doing so puts more CO2 in the air.
They will be saved (for a year or two) by the building El Niño.
I had to turn my furnace back on last night.
Translation; We haven’t skimmed enough money from this scam yet.Gore got more than 100 million, but that’s not enough for him.
This is largely due to the efforts of Vladimir Putin who got a group of Russia's top hackers in a room and said something like "Guys, I'm not gonna **** Russia's economy over a bunch of BS, I want you to BLAST your way into that East Anglia CU email database and spread to the four winds whatever you might happen to find there"...
That was the genesis of "climategate" and the point at which people who make decisions, or at least enough of them, stopped taking those idiots seriously. Other than for that, we might all be rubbing sticks together to make fire by now.
Yes I had to turn the heat up yesterday and today..
No smoking hot spot
1. The greenhouse signature is missing. We have been looking and measuring for years, and cannot find it.
Each possible cause of global warming has a different pattern of where in the planet the warming occurs first and the most. The signature of an increased greenhouse effect is a hot spot about 10km up in the atmosphere over the tropics. We have been measuring the atmosphere for decades using radiosondes: weather balloons with thermometers that radio back the temperature as the balloon ascends through the atmosphere. They show no hot spot. Whatsoever.
If there is no hot spot then an increased greenhouse effect is not the cause of global warming. So we know for sure that carbon emissions are not a significant cause of the global warming. If we had found the greenhouse signature then I would be an alarmist again.
Where's the hot spot? (That question is for you too, Neil deGrasse Tyson)
I had snow all over my house this morning and my furnace will not go off for another month at least at this rate.
2-3 inches of “global warming” in my yard this AM and 25 degrees.
60 miles north of NYC.
I knew it wuz gonna get colder cos the raccoons haven`t woken up yet in the tree to come knockin` on my door..
Ding, ding, ding ... we have a thread winnah!
Climate Change (formerly the New Ice Age and Global Warming) ... I think the writer of “Chicken Little” could sue them for copyright violations as they have copied the storyline.
Help we are going to die. Well, yes, with or without global warming. Duh.
I woke to my semi-planted garden being covered with snow this morning - almost one full month into spring. Here in Connecticut, the latest snow I ever remember in my 55 years was April 7th.
You can’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining and expect me to believe it.
I remember when these guys said that man would kill the planet off by 1999 because of CFCs, Acid Rain, and CO2.
And that was through the stuff they were telling us through kids programming (Captain Planet).
