The Arizona House of Representatives has approved a Senate bill allowing ranchers to kill endangered wolves in self-defense.
Senate Bill 1211 would allow livestock owners to kill a Mexican gray wolf if one was caught attacking livestock or a person.
Wildlife activists say the bill violates the federal Endangered Species Act. But a staff attorney says the bill has been watered down and now meets constitutional requirements.

Jeez, now I don’t want those wolves to die out but it’s absurd you need to pass a law to able to defend yourself or your property from a wild animal, WTF.
What does PETA think people should do, pet the wolf? Buy it some snausages in the hopes they prefer them and leave the cattle alone?
They been whackin them since they re introduced them in the 90s.

Too bad the overflow of wolves off of gov’t property can’t be sent directly to the State Capitols and to Capitol Hill.

i’d say every wolf that attackslivestock or people, tranq it and force an econut to keep it in his house.

PETA would rather have you executed than impact an animal’s life in any manner. They are a truly evil group.
I loved the South Park episode about PETA coming to the school and forcing them to change their Cow mascot.

the Feds introduced wolves into Wisconsin not too many years ago. Those same wolves have multiplied to the extent they have become a real problem on deer and cattle herds in this area. Hence, EVERY wolf around these parts is indeed an “endangered species” and although still protected by law, WILL meet their demise, upon sight. Some wolves have already reached that milestone I am told.
It’s inanity on a mass-scale.
Before this, if attacked by a wolf you were supposed to just let it eat?
Nice to see Arizona leadership recognize common sense, but it's a statement on the pathetic state of our nation that it has to be spelled out in law.
Yet it escapes me how some folks can be so ignorant about what people can face in the wilderness. Of course you carry, of course you prepare to draw, and you pray to God that the sound behind you in the desert brush is Bambi looking for his mother and not a hungry bear or a mountain lion.
I’m trying to find the part in the Constitution that pertains to wolves. :-)
