No one should ever fill out a census form again. I know I won’t.
The “Won” with the totally conjured past, now attempts to project an Infinite Illusion.
Did you get one of these mailed forms? I did, and I called the number, asking what were the consequences if I did not respond to the form. First, there would be a visit to your address, by an “official” information collection specialist (probably a member of the SEIU, doing a little moonlighting). Resistance to the visit would invite a return visit later, this time in the presence of US Marshals, and if there were still disinclination to answer, the marshals would “detain” you, with disposition of your status rather uncertain.
No biggie. I thoroughly studied the form. There is no means of verifying the information other than through the phone number currently assigned to that address, so naturally I had to include that. Other information provided is likely not going to be verified beyond a cross-check of the phone number with the current address. The rest of the information you may provide on whatever basis you think acceptable, and there are questions about where is the place of employment, distance to workplace, means of traveling there, what benefits does your employer provide, what kind of health benefits are included in that bundle of benefits, approximate annual income, level of education, approximate ages of residents, and of course names, but there is no way of verifying the names if you claim to be a renter. The response is recorded at a website, and once finished, simply “submit”.
Creativity is not a lost art.
I just put down the number of people in the house and send it back...
They came out and I sent them away.
They pestered my neighbor and he said “Go ask them!” The other slammed the door in their face.
I like my neighbors.
