CRIMEAN: Tatars are being fired for refusing Russian citizenship

22:50 Crimean Tatars are being fired for refusing Russian citizenship

The Crimean Tatars living in the Autonomous Republic, who refuse Russian citizenship, are being fired from their jobs. This was stated live on “Hromadske.tv” by MP Mustafa Dzhemilev.

“The situation in the Crimea is oppressive. They are checking documents at every corner. The people don’t know what to do. The Crimean Tatars who don’t want to become Russian citizens, are essentially being forced to do so, as if they do not receive Russian passports, they will not be able to get employment,” he said.

“Those who refuse to take the passports are already being fired from their jobs. The issue of property rights is also questionable,” stated Dzhemilev. -TVi

looks like more anti Russian propaganda.

I bet there was a lot of anti-German propaganda about conditions for non-Germans in the Sudetenland after Germany annexed it in 1938. As we now know, people who are phobic about Germans have been making up fairy tales about a so-called Final Solution for decades.

There would be less anti-Russian propaganda if the Russians would stop creating it.

You gotta hand it to the Russians - they're good at propaganda. They're the reason everyone *knows* the CIA created AIDS.

Dude, EVERYTHING is propaganda.
The first casualty in any war is truth.

Diving truth from propaganda requires some critical thought.

You said: “Russian media is still the best English Language source for info about what is going on.”

How is RT more reliable as a source of information than Maidan PR, MSM or conservative news outlets?

I didn’t say “reliable”, I said BEST...
Do you not understand the difference?

They were live-blogging events in near-real time, along with the official government positions, while western media was pretty much ignoring that anything was going on.

But if their information is not reliable, why does it matter if RT is live-blogging events in near-real time? They have a long history of lying.

Does the “best English Language source for info” for you mean pumping out the most continuous amount of propaganda in near-real time?

There are plenty of other organizations, along with Twitter, are good at this as well.

That’s interesting info about Operation INFEKTION. I didn’t know that the Russians have openly admitted to spreading anti-American conspiracy theories before.

So many FReepers seem to be falling for the same thing this time around though. Whenever there’s a conspiracy that makes America or the West look bad, RT is on the case.

50+ 9/11 conspiracy videos on YouTube from RT. Borrowing select positions and accusations from Lyndon LaRouche, Ron Paul, John Birch and Alex Jones and pouring money into them.

NWO, globalism, bankers, the military-industrial complex, Bush went into Iraq for oil, 9/11 false flag, USS Liberty, Gulf of Tonkin, Soros is taking over the world etc.

For the first time all these formerly crackpot fringe theories are backed by hundreds of millions of dollars intended to sow disinformation and doubt, cheerled by RT since 2005. We can now see the fruits of their success.

Tatars lived through collectivization, Stalin’s purges, World War II and, in 1944, a ethnic cleansing that sent nearly 200,000 into exile in the Gulag and Central Asia, unfairly accused of collaboration with the Nazis where half are believed to have died.

I found this History of the Tartars interesting: http://www.unpo.org/members/7871

We knew they were behind this long before they admitted it. They had any number of left-wing magazines on their payroll. And I'm not even saying that the people who ran those magazines were helping the Russians for money. As far as I can tell, they were true believers. The Russians merely helped them make a full-time living out of what would otherwise have been a hobby.

5 Billion Dollars delivered to Euromaidan bought only half a country for NATO.

$5b delivered over 20 years is a few hundred million dollars a year. A fair of amount of aid was handed over to the Russians to help them modernize their nuclear arsenal:

Over the years, Energy’s semiautonomous National Nuclear Security Administration has provided billions of dollars in monetary, in-kind and technical assistance to Russia.
In 2012, aid to Russia was over $400m, compared to over $200m for Ukraine:

I have a lot of neighbors barely getting by and living on Ra-men noodles, what the Tartars lived through in the past isn't nearly as important to me as what happens here, now, and for my children and grand children.

How about this, we'll keep the MREs going to the Ukraine for the kids here living on Ra-men noodles, ship them the Ra-men noodles and give them big discounts on all the small arms and small arms ammo they want to buy?

Otherwise, if we're going to talk about their sad "unfair" history. Lets get start with the Tartar volunteers in the the SS units that destroyed the Warsaw ghetto and also among the SS units who murdered the Jews in Hungary when the Hungarian government could no longer protect them.

Are the piles of documents that show Tartars were almost all enthralled with the Nazis all forgeries to "unfairly accuse" this particular group of poor Muzzies? Are the Tartar volunteers in Syria really Putin operatives? How about the Tartars who fought in Kosovo and those who fought in Afghanistan with the Taliban, they were Putin's guys, too?

Then we'll move on to the proud special units of the SS that were made up largely of Tartar volunteers and hunted Jews throughout Nazi occupied territory. I have an uncle who guarded some of them in France until they were turned over to the French who promptly shot all thirty or so of them.

Have a nice day

Admitting it is a big deal when it comes to persuading believers that they’ve been had. Any other refutation is typically shrugged aside as propaganda.

Nowadays, it seems that RT, Global Research, Occupy Wall Street and people like Alex Jones, Ron Paul, Edward Snowden and Lyndon LaRouche have become the newest beneficiaries of the new Russian media campaign.

They host them and fete them, and back and adopt many of their positions. It’s evident that they see these conspiracy theories as advantageous for Russian interests. True believers used as useful idiots.

Just a few days ago Putin had Snowden come on RT with him just so he could ask him whether Russia spied on Russian citizens, even though there’s plenty of evidence that they do.

Putin said that unlike America, Russia does not spy on any citizen without a court order. Propaganda at its finest.

Rashputing: You must KNOW in 1967, an official decree exonerated the Crimean Tatars from any wrongdoing during World War II. Please repeating inaccurate history is merely revisionism. I understand no jobs.
We have 3 bio & adopted 11 children, now in their teens & early twenties. Tell me about no jobs as they struggle to pay for college, buy car insurance with 2 or 3 part time jobs. And, please don’t ask how my hubby & I will pay for life insurance or health care once he retires... no I get it. But, we need to be honest & not take out our frustrations with our gov’t on those also suffering

Ah, but I have eye witnesses and photos that say differently. The 1967 report was a favor to Arabs with oil who didn't like having the facts about Muslim and Tartar sympathies in particular being solidly behind Hitler in WWII right out there for everyone to see. So, bada bing, bada boom, exoneration.

What percentage of Tartars didn't side with Hitler is open to question but it was far from being the majority, that's for sure.

Life is tough, it's tougher if you're stupid.

If they're hanging around the beach waiting for someone to rush in and save them, they're stupid. They've been bought and sold twice over by the EU and their solution is to pray for help from the US and EU?

Odd how no matter what anyone says the response is, "I can top that". It's exactly the same sort of thing that was so common when boiler room stock hustlers were all the rage. What, is is tough to hustle penny stocks these days and hustling sympathy for the Ukraine is a quick buck?

All the stock hustlers were were wise old traders or people with a family member "in the know", is it any surprise the sympathy hustlers are "Reverends" or people with relatives in the Ukraine?

Oh, and I have nine Alaskan Malamutes, three Scotties, and two Basset Hounds, as well as two children and two grand children to feed with only my paltry income from selling violets out in front of the 110 year old "mansion" we live in and lovingly call "Chita" sorta like Scarlet called her place, Tara. I'd go further afield to try and sell violets but daytime is my shift to hold the roof over the front steps up so, it's tough everywhere.

And by the by, several of the folks also trolling for sympathy toward various groups in the Ukraine definitely think you're going to Hell for being a Reverend who is a Mom, or, maybe it was for being a Mom who is a Reverend. Either way, it's odd how some people put that trivia aside and all pull for the team when one or another democrat fascist cause needs some sympathy. Very odd, indeed.
