Skip to comments.POLL: CNN'S WEEK-LONG CAMPAIGN FOR WENDY DAVIS BACKFIRES

For over a week in February, led by Wolf Blitzer, CNN devoted countless hours to boost Wendy Davis, the abortion extremist Democrat running to become governor of Texas.
Using a guilt-by-association tactic, Blitzer and CNN relentlessly hurled fireballs at Davis's Republican opponent Greg Abbott for sharing a stage with right-wing rocker Ted Nugent, who had called President Obama a "subhuman mongrel" months before.
A just-released polls shows that CNN turning itself into a full-bodied campaign outlet for Davis definitely failed to the move the ball for Davis, but might have even backfired.
Abbott is currently surging past Davis by a 14 point margin, 51 to 37 percent.

If CNN ratings are any indication, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that their week long campaign for Davis failed
I would suspect that she won’t even get 37 percent of the vote, even if all the dead Democrats go to the polls.
Don’t mess with(unborn)Texans!
If CNN ratings are any indication, it shouldnt surprise anyone that their week long campaign for Davis failed”
Yes, what are we talking about here....a couple of dozen viewers?
Well, “he is not a subhuman mongrel” isn’t exactly a great campaign slogan. Right up there with “I am not a crook.”
Biased, advocacy journalism benefiting particular candidate is effectively an “in-kind” campaign donation.
Trailer trash Barbie going D O W N .............
How many of CNN’s 7 viewers weren’t already supporting the daughter of Lilith?
The one who abandoned her kids?
This is great news to this Texan!
If they cannot hit 40% they need to fix their cheats
I hear they are going to allow that wart on her face to vote 10 times.
Dim sponsored push poll (PPP) has her down 15%. Believe me.....the DNC has already written off this wench.
Texas is no country for deadbeat Moms.
CNN: go back to pimping disasters.
Her 15 minutes of fame are about over.....
She came out of nowhere and she’ll go back to nowhere. Her dreams of being the next Ann Richards were a pipe dream at best.
It unfortunate that we couldn’t get them to dump a whole lot of money into the race though before they decided it wasn’t worth it.
Dan Patrick’s run-off is going to be interesting. Lots and lots of TV ads running against him. Looks like Dewhurst is just lurking in the shadows and letting other groups do his dirty work for him.
Wolfie is deeply saddened.
awwwwwwwwwwwww poor abortion lover..perhaps Wendy should take one for the cause and abort herself, she would probably gain more votes that way
Two polls out there just released. One by PPP and the other by Texas Tech.
Davis isn’t doing well in either.
Hard to believe the Wolf “The Jackal” Blitzer put his best paw forward and the public backed away from the carcass.
amazing, isn’t it, considering what a meager audience that regularly watches wolfie must look like.
Her ONLY claim to fame is that she likes killing babies, not exaactly sterling resume’ for a person seeking public office.
both of CNN’s viewers were upset!!!
Ha! Good one.
maybe if Ms.Davis claimed she was part injun?
