I do notice that neither Santorum or Bachmann showed on the poll. Even Crispie got 5%.

If that was the case, he would have convinced his other Republicans and Democrats
to pass bills he supports. To this day, he has unable to get any support for bills he wanted.

I think ole Newt might be the only one that can “technically” take on Cruz and “informationally”.

Other than that though, Newt’s less than outstanding personal life (historically) and his personal appearance sink his ship before he opens his mouth.

Keep those fingers in your ears and your eyes tight shut, and you may be able to continue to ignore reality.

Dang, naps, you must search out the Cruz threads. You’re on almost every one of them, badmouthing him.

Just a typical yankee liberal who has been feeding at the government trough since he was a teenager.

What? Are you serious? I have kept America safe. I probably should have done what you did and went on to make billions at the private sector. You private sector people are the ones who have it easy. Easy money. Working in the military and even government workers is a job that you make chump change. You were pretty lucky not to give back to the United States. Probably a good move on your part.

Don't know what you are posting about. Newt was the class of the field in every debate he was in. Perry not so much. He was just nervous.

Panama, Jacksonville, Norfolk, Annapolis, Norfolk, Newport, Korea, Sicily. OK. I do see one high risk duty station - Washington, DC. Retired at half pay and now double dipping.

What are you talking about?????? 24 years? You don’t have a clue about Norfolk or Mayport. Mayport was during Desert Storm which I was part of on ships. You clearly are not military OBVIOUSLY. And 24 years does not give you 50 percent....it is more. Panama was Just Cause. Lord I wish I had it easy. Italy we went to Afghanistan. According to you, I had it pretty easy. Most 1% folks like yourself can’t possibly relate the the working class.

One key is being quick and good at seeing the holes in your opponent’s argument. That’s the easier part. The other part is being able to refute the holes and buttress your own position. To me, that’s the more difficult part. Cruz does well with both, which is important when dealing with the left which will dissemble and outright lie, they bombard you with lies, and you have to be quick to both catch them all and refute them.

He can argue with the facts and the truth and the right (ethically speaking) on his side until he’s blue in the face. When he’s dealing with people who, because of their own covert agenda, are determined not to hear the truth and the facts, there’s nothing he can do. Even our Lord Jesus couldn’t force people to see the light, when they had their own determination to go their own way.

Unfortunately, the Texas primary won’t mean much in 2016 because it is too late...

Pretty much this. The only way this would matter is if he makes it far enough into the primary for TX to be in play.

That said, I'm not sure he will run in 2016. Of course, what do I know - I didn't think he would win the 2012 primary either.

Of the potential candidates, I'm kinda leaning towards Rand Paul at this point.
