Putin's Office Threatens To Mobilize | 2014-04-18 19:26:13
In a significant escalation of rhetoric, not only does Putin's press secretary admit that there are Russian troops on the border with Ukraine, but he says that they are there to respond if Russia is driven "into a corner." RFE/RL reports:
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has confirmed that Russia does have troops near the Ukrainian border and that some of those forces are stationed there "on a permanent basis."
Peskov said additional forces are in the area along Russia's border with Ukraine but only "as reinforcement aganst the background of what is going on in Ukraine."
Peskov also said Washington's threats of additional sanctions against Russia if Moscow does not adhere to the terms of an agreement reached yesterday in Gevena between top diplomats from Russia, Ukraine, the United States, and European Union were "absolutely unacceptable."
"We can mobilize our whole society if someone starts driving Russia into a corner," he said. "Thank God, it is impossible to drive Russia into a corner."
Previous to this, the Russian line has been that the troops were there as part of drills that are unrelated to the crisis in Ukraine. To our knowledge, the troop deployment has not changed, just the way Moscow is now talking about them.
I agree tcrlaf. I do not realize how terrible things can become and believe none of us (the living) have any type of realization should this escalate to conflict between nation where there are nuclear exchanges what terrible realities would exist. Am keeping myself aware, as best as can, of the dangers and yes you also have my agreement that D.C. continues to bungle their way through this. Surprisingly though, am keeping calm in spite of the bungling. I guess it is because I saw the Cuban Missile crisis as it unfolded. Don’t know for certain if that is reason am remaining calm but am calm. Truly believe my Faith in God and a better tomorrow has much to do in keeping me calm.
I seem to remember a certain Russian backed leader looting billions from the Ukrainian economy, stripping the military, and generally being an all around bad guy and killer, being the root cause behind the Maidan.
The Russkies have entire military treatises on winning a nuclear war. They do not share the Western phobia to a nuclear exchange, or, perhaps, they do take it more seriously, as they have been preparing to survive a nuclear exchange for many many years. Unlike us, the Russians have a trained population and nuclear fallout shelters with plenty of supplies. We have nothing, because stupid liberals AND so called conservatives do not believe in military preparedness.

Don’t worry and stay calm, please. MADD and Sampson exists fully. It would be stupid of anyone or any nation to force or participate in a nuclear exchange. Nobody wins. Weapons these days in the nuclear arena are beyond our comprehension. Takes only a few to be released and the destruction is beyond comprehension for each of us. Prayers such an exchange never occurs for then nightmares will come true. Till then I’ll stay calm. You do the same friend, please.
You forget that you are a product of western liberalism, even as a conservative. The culture is saturated with it. The Russians and Chicoms do not think in these ways, and are on record saying so, and have been preparing themselves to practice what they preach. They are committed to the collapse of liberal democracy and to the ascendancy of Caesarism.

Personal information? Putin divorced his wife on the grounds that he didn't marry her in the church. Soft looking conscripts in the Russian army are raped by their officers, and this is protected by the regime. There are scholarly articles on the issue of the occult and its prevalence in Russian culture, even to the highest levels. Start with Aleksandr Dugin, the founder of the "Eurasian movement," who has ties to the Kremlin and appears on Russian state run television. He's advocated Aleister Crowley, and believes in all sorts of weird, Nazi-Like religious and ethnic theories. It's worth noting that part of his ideology involves taking over Georgia, Ukraine, and other former Russian bloc states. Russian generals, intellectuals, politicians, are into Shamanism, Theosophy, and all sorts of stupid stuff. And, unfortunately, it is highly popular within the common society too.
I think you should put your energies towards advocating for military preparedness, patriotism, and anti-communism. It is not a coincidence that Putin is "former" KGB, and Russia is still aiding and abetting communist states and terror groups across the world. It's what's kept us alive so far. It's the lack of doing so that has left us in this vulnerable condition.
