I replied that I personally am a citizen of Ukraine, the building belongs to the public and is not a Government building, and it is not clear why they came to ask me about the flag."

The police said the reason for the visit was a call from concerned citizens. "And why during 23 years of here (in the Crimea) at rallies, on the buildings were flags of Russia, and for you it was not the reason for visits, and now you are confused by the Ukrainian flag? "-that was the answer of Ševkieva.

The police said they would draw up a report on the incoming signal and warned Ševkieva that under current law he has the right to refuse to provide information. Riza Ševkiev took advantage of this right.
