As far as I'm concerned, elephants are better creatures than any bureaucrat or "business interest." They are God's creatures, have close family groups and long memories, are highly intelligent. Murdering them is a disgrace.
Never in my life have I wanted to live on a planet where there are no elephants. What can I do? What can anyone do?
Land grabs. I hates dem.

But i though that african natives were like noble savages and stuff. In tune with nature and all. Well, if all the elephants die, we can use the PC excuse “the global warming done did it”
The Beast Mugabe thinks they are Republicans..
And you, my friend, are probably the last hope for elephants, because the environmentalists, animal rights activists, and conservationists are ineffective, divided, airheads. All theory, no action. All committees, no heroes.
If you were born that way I will not criticize!
Mugabe will leave Rhodesia in total ruins. So sad.

For those who haven’t read “Unintended Consequences”: http://www.freedomsphoenix.com/Uploads/129/Media/Unintended_Consequences.pdf
1. You owe it to yourself to read it. Could possibly save your life at some point.
2. It contains a great explanation of the necessity of permanently removing big cats and elephants (among other animals) when Africans attempt to become self-sufficient and raise their own crops and livestock in areas that were previously wild.
Not to mention that the above comment sounds like Congress’ approach to passing laws. “Do this.” Someone else can write the regulations and figure out how to make it happen. That’s been working well.
Just sayin’.
I can recognize an elephant on sight.Same with hippos,Rhinos (the four legged kind),giraffes, etc. That's the extent of the expertise I'd bring to the table when attempting to address this issue. When I made that comment I assumed that it was understood that it would be done properly, reasonably and without a hint of moral or fiscal corruption...not the way Dirty Harry,Bella Pelosi,Osama Obama and Juan McLame would do it.
