Oklahoma militia gears up to fight with feds

OKLAHOMA - A dispute over land in Nevada between rancher Cliven Bundy and the Federal Government began decades ago.

Bundy says his family’s cattle have grazed on the land without interference since 1870.

The Bureau of Land Management says Bundy hadn’t paid his grazing fees since 1993, owing the government more than 1 million dollars.

The B.L.M. says Bundy was allowing his cattle to graze illegally, which triggered a forced round-up of about 400 of Bundy’s cattle just last week. The cows were later released.

Organizers with the Oklahoma Militia say they have members in Nevada who say Bundy’s cattle were unlawfully rounded up by the B.L.M.

Militia member Scott Shaw comments on the round-up “evidently in America we don’t actually own the property anymore, if you ever did.”

The round-up sparked an armed standoff, but it wasn’t the Bundy family who owns the cattle, it was militia members from across the nation going up against the B.L.M.

Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe weighed in on the matter “You’ve got a bunch of people there trying to take the law into their own hands and they shouldn’t be doing that and the bureau of land management is not government-owned, its publicly owned, there’s a big difference there. I blame both sides.”

Here in Oklahoma, militia members say they have nearly 50,000 volunteers. Members say they are taking Bundy’s side and fear this governmental practice could spread to the Sooner State.

Scott Shaw says with all of the recent constitutional infringements by the Federal Government, the Oklahoma volunteer militia is ready to take up arms if needed. “It’s up to the feds, the balls in their court! You can do this legally or if you want to try to do a land grab violently, you can do that, were going to resist you!”

Shaw says they haven’t had to defend Oklahoma from the Feds yet, but says its beginning to become a concern.

“Just look around the country they are doing it everywhere. If they can do it in Nevada, they can do it in Colorado, Texas. I mean what’s to stop them from coming to Oklahoma? The only thing to stop them is we the people.”

Congress is part of the problem. The politicos have no spine unless their masters pull the strings taught.

"Militia member Scott Shaw comments on the round-up 'evidently in America we don’t actually own the property anymore, if you ever did.'"

The "property" being Bureau of Land Management lands? All of the BLM land (mostly desert or remote) should be sold cheap to private sector individuals only: those with no ties to any level of government or government-derived incomes--individuals wanting to build and produce on those lots with their own hands, no help from laborers, no building regulations and one lot per individual. Let them manufacture some products. Men at work with real families out of the sight of the sensitive elite, problem solved, fewer burdens, economy improved.

Looks like another fake insurrection operation by politicos with their ill gotten incomes as an excuse to violate the rights of more honest Americans. Be nonpolitical, folks. Give no respect to what is not respectable. Do what is right, learn, do things for yourselves and save. Let the default process runs its course to depose the morally bankrupt.

“He is correct. Congress sure as hell isn’t doing anything.”

It has never been more important to be loud and clear. PICK YOUR FIGHTS! Don’t engage them unless the cause is good, or you will do more harm than good to the cause of liberty.

Make sure your men are organized, and disciplined. Make sure not one of them ever shoots first.

The Obama Media is determined to help them both succeed.

Good, that makes them a target if you ask me.

Make sure not one of them ever shoots first.

It won't matter who shoots first, the government thugs will be the innocent parties.

I think it is an accident. I think this caught him completely off guard. If you watch the video of him calling the Bundy protesters "domestic terrorists," he looks hunched over, shaky, angry and scared.

Of course, the next move he makes won't be an accident at all.

It’s up to the feds, the balls in their court!

The writer needs to put an apostrophe between the l and the s....ball’s.

Inhofe shows on whose side the politicians stand.

“...the government thugs will be the innocent parties.”

It will soon be time for the gov’t thugs to be the dead parties. Each time this happens it will be harder for these gov’t thuggery agencies to find willing ‘thugs’ to do their dirty work.

I would like for Inhofe to explain to me the difference between publicly owned and government owned. The white house is publicly owned. The government is publicly owned. Apparently Inhofe let it slip that he believes the government is no longer by the people, for the people. And he’s a part of the government.

It just occurred to me that I’ve only personally known 1 person who THOUGHT about running for the senate. 45 years ago I knew a guy who ran for the house. Back then the voters knew the candidates. Today only the elite run for office and the peasants don’t know who they are or who picked them.

There will be nothing but defeat if the cause is not just.
It is unfortunate that the pent up anger was provoked into such a confrontation at the Bundy Ranch. We were not really ready and that was not the place to make a stand.

Right now the enemy’s of liberty are controlling this situation, they are choosing the place & time of battle and thou this conferation at the Bundy Ranch may not have gone as perfectly as they had hoped. It is still not to our advantage. Like it or not we cannot deny that in the eyes of the Federal Government and it’s employees in black robes Bundy was in the wrong.

We have only their inappropriate and unjust efforts to compel Bundy’s compliance to defend what was done out of the emotion and outrage Obama’s tactics, lawlessness, and 30 years land abuse.

Let us not be blinded to the fact that we are still very much at a disadvantage. We need something just to rally for, and thoses who join the cause of liberty must have nonthing but justice in their hearts and deeds.

I know this cannot be done with any population of people, but the case we define for the group MUST BE justice for all!

Obama needs Marshall Law before the November election date when the democrats get snuffed.

I have no idea who Marshall is or what his law says but I am a Texas domestic terrorist who stands ready to oppose the tyranny that the government is trying to impose on us.
