“She Wore a Yellow Ribbon”, one of my top ten movies. I own the colorized version, but actually prefer the BW version. I believe Turner was who colorized it..

My dad used to wake us up (no matter the hour) so we could watch She Wore a Yellow Ribbon....must have seen it at least twice a year when I was growing up. Still like it

“Yellow Ribbon” was made in color. The other two cavalry movies “Fort Apache” and “Rio Grande” were made in black and white. Why just the one was made in color, I do not know.

The other two were colorized but this technique was never popular so you will always see them in black and white.
