Cuomo will go down to a landslide defeat after his second term just like his father. Cuomo road his coat tails, was handed HUDD secretary (screwed that up royally), married the Kennedy, and it will end bigger disgrace than his father. Camelot to cow paddys by 2018.

Cuomo's only accomplishment is fundraising and winning election in 2010, a year when Democrats got shellacked losing 600 plus seats nationwide. And this is the reason he is lionized by the media, do you think they would criticize the sole good story from an election year when Democrats got destroyed? No, certainly not.

Yes, New Yorker's are stupid enough to reelect him this year, which should tell you how screwed up NY is. But, by 2018 Cuomo will be living the reality of his father's second term and without his father's charm.

Somewhat off-topic, but, I have been seeing the TV ads on the cables promoting the new business friendly NY with the offer of tax deferments and why you Mr. Businessman should relocate to New York. It only took me a few seconds to think of why any employee of that business would relocate to NY with such a high income tax rate and a lousy winter climate to boot.

I live here also. Maybe “charm” wasn’t the right word. What I meant was Andrew is undoubtedly less likable than his father (Mario), among moderates and even the left. By the end of his second term, Andrew will certainly own this economy. Like his father he will go down to a landslide defeat -only worse, because he’s not seen as likable.

His presidential ambititions are already finished. Whatever dog and pony show we see will be a fundraising endeavor. Remember, you can spend campaign funding on most anything in New York...short of hookers (reference Eliot Spitzer).
