It will be ironic if they choose a city administered by Republicans in a Republican state. Can’t imagine they wouldn’t want to go to Chicago or Detroit...

The DNC better have plenty of liberal feelings in their sales pitch because the last convention wasn’t a rousing success financially for Charlotte. I read it ended up costing them some serious dollars and was of little benefit to the local economy.
I’ll say this ahead of time. Anybody who gets ripped off by contracting or supplying the convention deserves what they get. Cash up front only.
Detroit is an option? Bizarre! Then again, plenty of abandoned building they wouldn’t have to pay rent for.

I don’t think there’s any real competition here. Harry Reid has done the WH bidding for six years, and he’ll inject that Vegas is the only place to really pay him and his sponsors back. You can figure that they will gouge the Democrats to 300-percent of what it ought to cost, and leave the party in serious financial jeopardy for the next five years.
Other suitable Reid turf would be Death Valley. Desolate and uninhabitable much like their future plans for the entire United States.
Havana is an excellent choice. Or Pyongyang.
Gitmo with their Mohammedan buddies.
They need to find a city that doesn’t remind everyone of failed liberal policies...
So scratch Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis and all other Midwestern cities off the list.
It can’t be in a conservative state... so scratch SLC, Nashville and most Southern cities.
NYC reminds America of 9-11 and Boston is too liberal.
Scratch states that elect a (R) senator in 2014.
Scratch states that had failed Obamacare rollout and your left with Washington State or California.
Stay away from Pelosilandia. And your left with Seattle.
