Cruz: Bundy Standoff Culmination of Obama’s ‘Jackboot of Authoritarianism’
Mediaite ^ | April 23, 2014 | Josh Feldman

Posted on 04/23/2014 7:15:13 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Ted Cruz weighed in on the Cliven Bundy situation with Texas radio host Chad Hasty Tuesday, and he called the standoff between Bundy supporters (some armed) and federal agents a tragic situation, but one that was the “culmination” of how President Obama has been pushing for a bigger and more intrusive federal government.

Cruz said that since Obama took over, “we have seen our liberty under assault” from a government “hell-bent on expanding its authority over every aspect of our lives.”

He went after Obama for eroding the nation’s constitutional liberties and not understanding the point of the federal government is to be protecting people’s liberties, “not using the jackboot of authoritarianism to come against the citizens.” So the Bundy standoff, Cruz said, “is the unfortunate and tragic culmination of the path that President Obama has set the federal government on.”

HOORAY Ted Cruz! Now what about the Harry POS Reid calling the Bundy supporters “terrorists”. The generational economic TERRORISTS in CONgress are trillions of times worse than ANY Bundy supporter.

If we had an opposition party it would be asking why the billionaire poster child for the 1%, and second largest bundler of Obama campaign contributions, Jon Corzine is walking the streets free as a bird while the main focus of federal law enforcement is a rancher running a few head of cattle on public land.

Crickets.

Is the Cattle Massacre at Nevada Cattle Rancher Bundy’s Pioneer Corral damaging the Democrat Party?

To put this latest Medieval “Kill for Sport” event in historical context, all one has to do is remember that the Democrat Party was the Founding Party of the KKK.

Is the modern day equivalent of the KKK the Bureau of Feudal Land Management, (BFLM) ?

If so, then Feudal Lord Reid would then be “The Grand Dragon of the BFLM.”

Feudal Lord Reid’s Rustlers are hired guns, who are furious but not fast, which also applies to their bitter, vengeful, senile, multimillionaire Leader: Feudal Lord Reid.

With the past Democrat-based KKK, and now the present Democrat-controlled BFLM, ethics be damned, as abject fear is the main goal of both of these Medieval Outlaw Gangs, past and present.

“Ethics” will be justified later by Liberals who will write the “revised” PC History of these times, past and present; of powerful men with outlaw hatred toward free people in America, Black or White, poor or rich.

The Jackboot Heel of Democat Tyranny is now upon us, AGAIN !

FORWARD!

Occupy Wall Street people were volunteer shock troops for The Democrat Federal Government of Obama. Pelosi and Schumer.

Reid’s Rustlers were hired shock troops for the Democrat Federal Government of Reid, Obama and Holder.

Occupy Wall Street people attacked businesses in large cities.

Reid’s Rustlers attacked cattle in an isolated Nevada Corral.

Both Occupy Wall Street and Reid’s Rustlers destroyed private property and private jobs.

Both Occupy Wall Street and Reid’s Rustlers were financially supported by the Democrat Obama Administration.

Both Occupy Wall Street and Reid’s Rustlers were publicly encouraged by the Democrat Obama Administration, and the Democrat Left Stream Media.

FORWARD!

If we had an opposition party…

Good point/post. Both major parties are party to PLUNDER of generations yet to be born.

Socialism Is Legal Plunder - Bastiat

Victims of Lawful Plunder

Men naturally rebel against the injustice of which they are victims. Thus, when plunder is organized by law for the profit of those who make the law, all the plundered classes try somehow to enter — by peaceful or revolutionary means — into the making of laws. According to their degree of enlightenment, these plundered classes may propose one of two entirely different purposes when they attempt to attain political power: Either they may wish to stop lawful plunder, or they may wish to share in it.

Woe to the nation when this latter purpose prevails among the mass victims of lawful plunder when they, in turn, seize the power to make laws! Until that happens, the few practice lawful plunder upon the many, a common practice where the right to participate in the making of law is limited to a few persons. But then, participation in the making of law becomes universal. And then, men seek to balance their conflicting interests by universal plunder. Instead of rooting out the injustices found in society, they make these injustices general. As soon as the plundered classes gain political power, they establish a system of reprisals against other classes. They do not abolish legal plunder. (This objective would demand more enlightenment than they possess.) Instead, they emulate their evil predecessors by participating in this legal plunder, even though it is against their own interests.

It is as if it were necessary, before a reign of justice appears, for everyone to suffer a cruel retribution — some for their evilness, and some for their lack of understanding.

The Results of Legal Plunder

It is impossible to introduce into society a greater change and a greater evil than this: the conversion of the law into an instrument of plunder.

I wonder what would have happened if Cruz were not the only one speaking up

If anyone in the world of politics beside Mike Lee had supported him on trying to stop Obamacare

I was wondering when Cruz was going to comment on this, I guess he was waiting to be asked about it.

Cruz 2016!

Still not sure Sarah Palin has commented yet, maybe she has and I missed it.

Palin 2016!

I wish I knew why the both of them were not all over this earlier.

Usually there is an initial piling on of everybody at one time and then not only does the issue die away but some comments get lost in the initial push, particularly if it involves Republicans who are commenting. A prolonged response over an extended period of time from all sorts of people and groups will help to keep the Bundy Standoff from being moved to the back burner.

We are now hearing from Senator Cruz, huge article on action taken by Abbott, our AG in Texas, another rancher in Arizona is speaking out. If we let this unfold as a flower, more and more previously isolated and non-related incidents will be made public, people will see that they are no longer standing alone and have the courage to speak up. Slow, steady and methodical and maybe we can take Dirty Harry down.

You’re welcome. One thing you will have to say about the Democrats is that they are relentless to the point that we end up saying, “Oh no, not again!”. Republicans just don’t seem to understand or have the urge to sink their teeth into something, hang on and continue to wrestle until they win.

Kids, Democrats and nagging spouses are better at this type of warfare than are Republican politicians. If they want something, they keep finding new ways to keep bringing it up, trying to wear you down and oftentimes they do.

We cannot let the Bundy issue get pushed off the front burner. It’s not about cows or grazing feeds but about the kind of America that I am going to leave to my grandchildren.

That is right on target, and why elections alone cannot reverse our dive into authoritarianism. Elections have become courtesy fornications designed to lull us into thinking we still live in a republic. Elections in Venezuela, Cuba serve the same purpose, to legitimize tyranny.

The GOP is the junior member of the Uniparty. It seeks political offices for the same reason as the rats, money and power.

No political party will save us.

Dividing power once again between DC and states is our only hope.

But. He posted a pic of a tiger rug he and Senator Lee purchased in Houston on his facebook page. Said he was shopping for the office.

And oh wow, does he have hate postings now.
