US court charges 5 haredi men for attacking gay black man in New York
Sounds like BS.
Charged with a crime by no means means that the five accused are guilty of anything. I could be that the five Ultra Orthodox men were framed by agitators in the radical black or and gay community like Al Sharpton or Dan Savage.
Will the accused even receive a fair trial?
Will they have a jury of their peers which would be other Ultra Orthodox Jews from their own community?
Where were the secret service?

I’ve never seen haredi invovled in any sort of violence. I wish I could say the same about black males.

First thing the article did was portray the “victim” as some type of saint and the “good guy”. What provoked the black eye? Did he open his mouth and suggest some racial slur (No, he’s black and they don’t do that do they).
My guess this was brought on by something yet to be determined.
Perhaps the haredi men were practicing the “Knock Out” game or, retaliating for Geo. Zimmerman killing Trayvon Martin. Who knows but my guess is it was “payback” for something as herdi men are typically not violent people.
I'll bet Rev. Al might feel the need for another Twanda Brawley incident.

I did happen to hear a little more in regards to this on TV this morning. Here in NYC. Where this occurred.
They, the beaters, said they thought he was a person who has been vandalizing cars.

Its nice you at least tried to make your post less racist but all of your questions put the onus on the guy who was beat up and not on the multiple beaters.
Oh, bullmanure. We live in the U.S.A. A jury of their peers is a jury of 12 Americans, some of whom may or may not be Jews, Orthodox or otherwise.
If the black guy and a few of his buds from the 'hood had beaten up an Orthodox Jewish man, would you be insisting that they be tried by an all black jury?

You are right about one thing, the fact that these men have been charged does not automatically mean they are guilty. Claiming that they were set up, however, goes well beyond the facts in evidence--unless you have information that the rest of us are not privy to. If so, please share it with us.
