Israel broke off Mideast peace talks and brought the U.S.-brokered process to the brink of collapse Thursday, protesting a reconciliation agreement between the Western-backed Palestinian Authority and the militant group Hamas, the Jewish states sworn enemy. [ ]
In a statement issued by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahus office, the government said it would not hold negotiations with a government backed by Hamas.
Instead of choosing peace, Abu Mazen formed an alliance with a murderous terrorist organization that calls for the destruction of Israel, the statement said, referring to a name Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is also known by.

aww hell. just tell the palestinians that the next time isrrael is attacked, Israel will neutron bomb the area and claim the country, tell the population to stop the terrorism or lose their country and mean it..the pali’s would move in hoards..to some other muslim hell hole..
I doubt Bibi is take any Obama angry phone calls he probably go voice mail
I was reading an old archived news clipping from 1968 or therabouts, and chuckled to myself when I read the words “peace process” regarding a story about Isreal and their nasty neighbors. Some things never change.
One of my bumper stickers:
How do you coexist with people that are trying to kill you?
They better do it before Iran gets the bomb or all bets are off.
True. Israel would have already bombed Iran had Obama not screwed things up.
PA/PLO + Hamas = worlds largest terrorist organization
Kerry blamed Israel for the talks failure. But Ehud Ohmert Labor PM was willing to give up half Jerusalem, and 97% of land won back in 1967 and Abbas said no.
Going back to Golda Meir the Israelis have offered peace.
Abbas got over the years thousand plus murderers released and what did Israel get.
Hamas plus the PA = Pamas entity 2 organizations who’s charter has in writing the destruction of Israel and death to the Jews.
I thought joke headlines were forbidden on FreeRepublic. What’s a “peace process”?
Israel got Abbas to finance the Munich Atrocity,
and then rewarded the murderer by releasing scores
and scores of murderers.
Israel has a finer line to walk than most. Everything the PA does is set up to fail and then they point the finger at Israel. That aside, yes I like to see them kick-butt.
Earlier on FR:
> Isnt it amazing? Israel was blamed by Lurch for the end of the peace talks but now were supposed to believe that the peace talks hadnt really ended, until now, when Israel ended them. Its two for the price of one today at Diplomacy Kmart!
so-called palis are the most worthless, useless, group of people on the planet. i rank them below gypsys and libtards.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.
You become the bigger pacifist... By smoking pot.

The term “process” is a LOADED TERM meant to strong-arm the Israelis into giving the Palestinians the store. As far as I know, a “process” has a defined end-point...like fabricating something from plastic...you put pellets in one end, a timing belt cover comes out comes out the other end. That is a process. In this case, they are implying that they know the outcome and all that happens now that both sides make it look like they tried to be tough (for their own public consumption).
If the outcome is not known, then the PROPER term is “peace talks” or something like that. But they INSIST on using the term “process”. It’s so ingrained now, I doubt anyone realizes just how loaded the term is, other than us.
