Kids need protein. Lots of protein. For growth. For repair. For immunity. Go to hell, Nanny State. Eat shit, die, and go to hell.

The low fat/high carb craze proffered by the official diet morons of the government in the 70's and 80's are the source of the current diabetes epidemic today. "Good" fat is necessary for healthy growth and always has been, especially in kids. If these busybodies want to be helpful they will discourage carbohydrate loading period.

Kids NEED FAT....sheesh....what idiots. Now, after the age of 7, humans really do not need milk....but, they need FAT.

When I was a kid we milked the cows (gurneys). We had three, but maybe 1-1/2 milking art a time.

A gallon of milk would yield a quart of cream which we skimmed off to make butter. We called it skim milk... I am sure we didn’t get 98% of the butter fat.

whole milk today has less butter fat.

Liberals claim to be tolerant and, on abortion, pro-choice.

But on this issue, liberals are not tolerant are are not pro-choice, as to whether to, or what kind of milk, to give children.

It’s hard to be liberal, because it’s hard to know what issues you are supposed to let people make their own decisions, and which issues you are supposed to issue decrees to be followed under penalty of law.

It looks like Connecticut is in a race to see if they can out-commie Massachusetts and Vermont with their Marxist - authoritarian legislation and sheer stupidity.

Well, given that some of their federal (De La Rosa) and local politicians are buddies with the Connecticut Communist Party and fronts, it makes sense that other leftists are now coming out of the closet, insane asylum, or both.

To say that Connecticut is a disgrace to America is putting it mildly. I remember when Conn. was the home of sane people and hard working patriots, including my relatives.

Today it is a Democrat/marxist economic shithole with 3rd worlders and commies continuing to make sure that it stays that way.

I’m glad that all my relatives from the “Greatest Generation” have passed on because I wouldn’t want them to see what has replaced the nice world they created with hard work and decency.

Somebody’s getting a kickback from somebody else to sponsor this legislation, you can be sure of that.

I drank lots of whole milk when I was growing up, and people said I was too skinny.

Some Connecticut lawmakers seem to think so. The state legislature is considering a bill that would ban day care centers from serving whole milk or 2 percent milk to children.

They can have my whole milk and my Big Gulp when they pry them from my cold, dead hands. It is my place to decide what I will drink and what my children will drink. The Big Government nanny state busybodies have no authority to make my decisions for me, and they are going to learn that government without legitimacy loses voluntary compliance, which means it can no longer accomplish anything.

Fat does not make one fat. Refined sugars and simple carbs make one fat. Big Gov’s food pyramid is a joke, and I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that corn and wheat lobbiests paid for it lock, stock, and barrel.

Hartford Marxists: May I say one thing?

That is 'IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS IF WE GIVE OUR CHILDREN WHOLE MILK OR 2% MILK.'

At least with this foolishness they aren't spending time raising taxes.
