Political action committees representing U.S. Sen. John McCain and the Koch Brothers helped Republican Thom Tillis to a 3-1 fundraising edge over his GOP rivals heading into the final month of their U.S. Senate campaign.

Donations from McCain’s “Country First” PAC and the Koch Industries PAC contributed to Tillis’ total fundraising of $3.1 million, according to a report posted Thursday by the Federal Election Commission.

It should say McCain's Mexico First PAC.

If McCain is for him then I am very suspicious. Seems like another Candy Graham from the Carolinas for McCain to be Sugar Daddy to.

If Tillis gets the nod...he’ll VERY quickly place himself into McConnell’s back pocket and will simply be a yes-man for the GOP-E. The more I hear/read about Greg Brannon, methinks I’ll support him. :)

We’ve got the best government money can buy. The big spenders on the extreme left are about to go all out buying it all up in November.

Are the Koch brothers stupid? The very ones trying to destroy them is trying to destroy the country.

Why support those who will help the left go after them?

Im trying to find the filing.

Did Koch Industries PAC donate the maximum 5,000 or 10,000 to Tillis? What benefit does that amount of money give Tillis.

Tillis already had millions. The Koch Brothers seem to do the right thing in other races like Amash, Walter Jones and Bentivolio.

“Who is Mel Tillis for?”
*******************************************************************

Tillis is for Mitch McConnell and the GOPe across the board. We do not need yet another establishment RINO in the Senate.

Support the Constitutional Conservative in the race—Greg Brannon.

This race has gotten a lot of attention for confusion. On the ground, those that know him know that Greg Brannon is a bit of an empty suit who talks a good game but hasn’t actually DONE anything for the cause yet besides talk.

Meanwhile, Thom Tillis is a Gingrich-type conservative leader. He’s walked the walk and he led the conservative takeover of the state house for the first time in pretty much forever. The biggest knock against him is that the establishment likes him. Look at what he has actually done and what he actually stands for and you’ll find out he’s a good, conservative candidate.

Gingrich was a disaster as Speaker and folded like a cheap suit in the face of the Government “Shutdown” of 1995. Tillis is another establishment type we do NOT need.

State legislator Tillis championed a bill making it easier for North Carolina employers to hire foreign workers. Instead of temporary guest workers coming in for a few months a year to do farm work, Tillis’ bill expanded “farm labor” to “all industries,” and expanded “seasonal” to “nine months.”

This wasn’t an idle vote cast thoughtlessly: After the Republican governor vetoed Tillis’ job-killing bill, Tillis led the legislature to override his veto.

Coulter hates Rand Paul, Ron Paul, libertarians, isolationists and she still won’t back Tillis.

Brannon for senate!

Just voted for Brannon in early voting today.

I don’t want another RINO. Brannon is proud to be associated with the Tea Party.

“...Meanwhile, Thom Tillis is a Gingrich-type conservative leader....”
*******************************************************************

I suspect he’s the Jeff Flake type of conservative-—which is why the RINO Establishment is supporting him with such riches. Tillis has sold his “conservative” soul to the GOPe.

Koch - McCain seems like an odd alignment.

Amen! Tillis is the "establishment" candidate. Even the NRA has backed him, but he's just another rino.

Brannon is my choice too...

I am planning to vote for Brannon in the primary, but, if Thom Tillis ends up being the nominee, I will vote for him in a heartbeat to get rid of Kay Hagan!
