Skip to comments.Ted Baxer: Cliven Bundy & media dishonesy
Posted on 04/26/2014 10:01:51 AM PDT by Kevin in California
I made a post about this last night and was able to find the loofa's talking points from last night.
In this video, Ted says "his staff does what I always researches the facts and reports on them!" However, in his talking points video here, at the 1:12 mark of the video, Ted says Bundy says made offensive and ignorant remarks about African Americans. Then, at the 2:01, he say how wrong we are for sympathizing with Bundy for the remarke he made on if blacks were better off being govt. dependent or victims of slavery. Ted then goes on to say Bundy has no clue and what he said should be condemned by every good person in the world.
Now, fast forward the the 3:00 when Ted begins to rip into some CNN reporter (Brian Stelter) for his reporting that FOX over reported the Bundy story. Ted then accuses this guy of bad reporting (calls him uniformed) for missing the over-coverage that MSNBC did on the Christie Bridgegate story.
Finally, here's what I'm getting at- Ted at the beginning of his talking points made it clear his staff gets all the facts before he reports on them. I say, "really Ted?" If that's the case, why didn't you in your talking points make mention that the Bundy video was edited and the Bundy remarks taken out of context?"
That's some staff you got there Teddy!
He also keeps repeating that phony statistic about record numbers of illegals deported by Obama, which has been thoroughly debunked.
So far, everything about the Bundy story is a direct refutation of liberalism, rinoism, the agenda of self-absorbed tv hosts and most importantly big government tyranny.
As usual, their gen'ed up controversy is fairly easily cut through.
The man in the above YouTube video is named Jason Bullock. He is a is a six-year Army veteran who is out in Nevada and has volunteered to serve as one of Cliven Bundy's bodyguards.
As you can see, Jason Bullock is also a black American.
That's what he had to say about Cliven Bundy, early this week, after Bundy's remarks were widly reported, and when CNN interviewed Bullock and asked him if Cliven Bundy's remarks had offended him.
"No, not at all. Mr. Bundy is not a racist.
"Ever since I've been here, he's treated me with nothing but hospitality. He's pretty much treating me just like his own family.
"I would take a bullet for that man if need be. I look up to him just like I do my own grandfather. I believe in his cause and after having met Mr. Bundy, I have a really good feeling about him and I'm a pretty good judge of character."
The media distorts information to the point of social division. Above is a photo of myself and the resilient, often charismatic, and maybe not so tactful Cliven Bundy. Hes a cowboy and a helluva family man, not an orator.
One thing he definitely isnt a racist. I found his comments to not only be NOT racist, but his own view of his experiences. Who the heck are we to determine another mans perspective on the world around him?! Just because Picassos view of the world was abstract, does it negate the fact that his art was genuine?
Furthermore, if you take the time to do your own research, youll find that his statements about some black Americans actually hold weight. He posed a hypothetical question. He said, I wonder IF Hell, Im black and I often wonder about the same about the decline of the black family.
Bottom line is that we are all slaves in this waning republic, no matter our skin color. Mr. Bundy could have used any racial demographic as an example: Native Americans on reservations, whites in trailer parks, etc. He noticed the crippling effects of receiving government assistance and the long term result of accepting handouts.
Its not progress at all. I challenge Sean Hannity, Rand Paul, and others to read my comment and reconsider their position in this matter. Individual liberties are at stake here, yours and mine. THAT is the issue.
Dont let the liberal media and ignoramuses like Glenn Beck and that weasel Harry Reid make you lose sight of the real issue here: The federal government is a burgeoning behemoth and a bully on a once constitutional playground.I sincerely hope you real patriots out there who can see through the smoke.
Perhaps Cliven Bundy has what some may call a big wart on him. Again, so what? We all do.
That does not make him a racist, or a bigot in the least, despite what Bill OReilly, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, and others may think or say. Those people have raitings and a lot of money riding on how they respond and what people think about their words...Cliven Bundy spoke straight...as best he could, and his underlying point is completely valid. And those two black veterans who know him, agree and stand by him. And one of those men feels so strongly about it, that he, a black US Army veteran, would take a bullet for the man. That carries a WHOLE lot more weight with me.
Who listens to this ars anymore. Hope you, Ted, are reading this because you are a pure simple minded idiot. And if this is the best your staff can do no wonder you have become trash.
[ READ/WATCH THESE TWO TESTIMONIALS ABOUT CLIVEN BUNDY’S RACIAL ATTITUDES ]
Thanks for finding and posting these two testimonials, Jeff. I was not aware of either one, but think so highly of them that I just sent them out to about 50 people. Let’s get these to go viral.
Brother Baxter has been seduced by the Hampton Chablis and Brie crowd. I have no confidence in him. He is every bit as left and self serving as was Cronkite.
Amen to that!
I have them on my page:
Cliven Bundy’s comments on Race and their Impact
Thousands of hits the last few days there.
Well always remember that Ted’s wife left him for a Long Island police detective. LOL!!!
Donald Sterling = racist;
Clive Bundy = not racist.
Compare and contrast Clive Bundy’s statements with Donald Sterling’s:
The difference is staggering.
I have been saying for years that Ted Baxter’s research is pathetic. To top that off he’s a dunce.
