What makes the tea party individual an "idiot" is not specified. Why he wants someone to run a tag through social media, I have no clue. But we're dealing with a looney lib, so do there have to be reasons?

If I owned the truck, I’d take Dickinson’s camera and break it over his head.

I’m wondering how you “expose” someone who has that much advertising on their truck!?! Is Mike afraid that some of his short bus supporters won’t understand those bumper stickers?

He’s a liberal - maybe he wants to kill the Tea Party member - or go after his job. Liberals are haters... who knows what they’re capable of...

According to this post, Dickinson claims that someone ran the tags and gave him the info. He concludes with "support the police". Did a cop in VA just break the law?

I don't know Virginia law but my first thought was that he
is soliciting an illegal act just by asking for that info.

I suppose the appropriate supervisory department needs to be made aware so any checks on this plate can be flagged for system abuse.

I would submit that running a tag simply because someone is a member of the Tea Party would be a violation of the First Amendment. It’s a blatant attempt to silence the Conservative voice.

I alerted TwitchyTeam that this guy was using social media to run license plates of tea party members.

Dickinson favorited my post AND retweeted it. Either he's proudly defiant or just an idiot. Or I was being way too subtle for him.

They actually do RUN the plates.
There are thousands of ready and willing democrat operatives working at Motor Vehicles and tax offices, who are more than happy to violate the terms of their employment and use their work-related access to private information to mess up the lives of normal people.

They do not have to worry about ever being prosecuted.

In one of his other twits, he said he called the Richmond cops on some “Tea Partiers” because they were “protesting” without a permit. How would he know? He hates the first two amendments with a passion.

Since he’s involved with a strip club, I’m sure he’s got connections with drug dealers, prostitutes, and crooked cops.

I do know Virginia law, and without it being official business of the county or state, or probable cause by law enforcement: the act of checking the database is against the law. The actual solicitation isn’t.

Just a guess, but I imagine Piedmont Search and Rescue is going to come under pressure to fire this guy. Even if he is a ‘work for free’ volunteer.

I put the ‘work for free’ in quotes, as a lot of the Lefts ‘volunteer’ organizations are paid by taxpayers.

They will do it anyway. They don't care about law, order, or decency. There are never any repercussions, why should they fear anything? Then they wonder why we are pissed.

It depends. If the recipient knowingly accepts data that was “stolen” from confidential databases, then yes. But it has to be proven that it came from a government source; and that is tricky.

Anyone with the authority to run those tags would have broken the law, not that the law means much of anything today; something that libs should be scared of, if they thought more than one move ahead.
