The 18-year-old woke up early last Saturday morning, gave birth to a full-term baby boy, placed him outside her house in a plastic Walmart bag and then went back to bed, prosecutors said today in bond court.
By the time a construction worker called police a few hours later after spotting the infant in the Northwest Side gangway, the child was dead.

And on another note, I know a lovely couple through church, who are unable to have children, who have been waiting 3 years to adopt.
We all knew that legalizing abortion up to the time of delivery would lead to things like this.
Abortion on demand at any time for any reason leads to
Infanticide of born infants, euthanizing disabled infants, euthanizing the elderly...and on and on, from horror to new horror.
Abortion is the gateway drug for the sociopaths among us.

That is a double tragedy in cases like this. The infant is thrown away like trash and yet there is a family... or a couple praying every night for a blessing of a child. A child they would love, adore, educate, and parent. This innocent baby could have been placed at a firehouse, a library, somewhere.. where he would have been found.
