Top 25 Most Dangerous Neighborhoods in America
neighborhoodscout.com ^

Posted on 04/27/2014 5:16:35 AM PDT by ilovesarah2012

Even the most dangerous cities in America can have relatively safe neighborhoods, as there is more variation in crime within most cities than between cities. But using exclusive data developed by NeighborhoodScout, and based on FBI data from all 17,000 local law enforcement agencies in America, we here report those specific neighborhoods in America that have the highest predicted rates of violent crime per 1,000 neighborhood residents of all. Violent crimes include murder, forcible rape, armed robbery, and aggravated assault. These neighborhoods are the epicenters of violence in America, where social issues are likely to ignite into violence and spread. See our FAQ on how we rank the most dangerous neighborhoods

Click on any neighborhood name below to view the neighborhood map and full profile.

Rank Neighborhood Violent Crime Rate (per 1,000) My Chances of Becoming a Victim Here (in one year) 25 Baton Rouge, LA (N Lobdell Ave / Harry Dr) 68.96 1 in 15 24 Chicago, IL (S Pulaski Rd / W Lexington St) 71.55 1 in 14 23 St. Louis, MO (Clara Ave / Saint Louis Ave) 72.09 1 in 14 22 Washington, DC (Atlantic St SE / 4th St SE) 72.65 1 in 14 21 Saginaw, MI (Lapeer Ave / E Genesee Ave) 73.17 1 in 14 20 Chicago, IL (S Indiana Ave / E 60th St) 75.18 1 in 13

It's sad to say, but a population usually gets the political representation it deserves.

America in a nutshell.

Some neighborhoods more than others, but overall our nation suffers from laziness, greed, political ignorance and apathy of the citizens. As a result, we are ruled by scoundrels.

If you view this side by side with the above map, you’ll see what everyone already knows, but the left doesn’t want you to see.

How bout LBGT rioting over the lack of boutiques in the area. I dunno...I'm so confused.

No need to be confused... The prophets Parker and Stone dedicated an episode about just this sort of thing. D-Yikes!

Well, maybe not boutiques.

Cliven Bundy didn't say it very well, but I think he was talking about the results from trading the old legal slavery for the new legal slavery and my guess is that most of these 25 are the result of that trade.

Some would say these are where the road of good intentions has lead, to an unexpected, unanticipated and unintended consequence.

However, after reading history, from the many comments of LBJ to the many progressives before him and their use of human psychology against those they wish to control, these are the exact results they had intended, including the slavish way certain ethnicities vote for the demonrat party.

Give them some credit. This wasn't unintended or accidental. This is all by design.

Whatever happened to Rockford, Illinois? Did not used to be anywhere near that bad.

The old saying goes, "a politician can always count on Paul's vote, when the government robs Peter to pay Paul."

Another famous quote (paraphrased) that nobody is quite sure of the source is that a republic/democracy is a temporary thing, that can not last long after the public realize that they can vote themselves the riches of the treasury, and will continually elect those who promise them the wealth of others.

Sounds all to familiar.

We have similar thoughts but different nomenclature

My “Black urban subculture” is pretty much the same as your “Black Underclass”

My thinking is heavily influenced by watching, studying in fact, the TV series called “ The Wire”. It is set in Baltimore and the characters depict the various subcultures of black Baltimore residents ranging from a black mayor and police commissioner through various police ranks, union members and officers, drug dealer leaders , street corner dealers and various old ladies in church hats caught up in the maelstrom.

Sometimes the lines are blurred as a drug dealer ages and gets to the top of the heap or as an old street soldier gets out of prison and realizes the old drug street life is now a bad choice of life style.

The very program series is all about race and racial problems and issues. Compared to the galactic racial proportions of
The Wire where the word nigger is a constant form of address, Clive Bundy’s statement is merely asteroid size

The powers that be dare not condemn or even mention The Wire because the series is so near the mark it is embarrassingly bad for them.

The daily slaughter in the black areas of the country has been going on for more than half a century. Forty years ago I remember subscribing to a Philly paper to follow the Sixers. What struck me was on the front page of many copies was another story about another shooting and killing in the black neighborhoods. What was going on in Philly was going on in every black neighborhood in the country. It didn't just start when Obama got elected.

I've read a number of books about blacks growing up in the big cities like "Manchild In The Promised Land" that were written fifty years ago or more. The same stuff that is going on now was going on back then. I don't want to go back to the days of segregation, but if the powers that be don't start dealing with this cancerous segment of the American population, some very bad reactions might happen. I don't think law-abiding Americans want to keep putting up with this craziness much longer.

-——The same stuff that is going on now was going on back then. -——

Except one major difference........ the black community, the summation of the various subcultures, has political control.

Control of the cities is control of the country. Control of the black underclasses equals control of the country

“Stay in school and while there, actually learn. Join some clubs, volunteer, hang out with the smart kids and emulate them. Go to college or trade school. Get a job and prove yourself and work your way up. Get married to someone with a good education and good job prospects. Buy a home and have a child or two and teach your children well.”

Unfortunately, the above is not too darned easy these days for (formerly) middle-class WHITE kids, given the garbage public schools, policies and regulations making it surprisingly difficult to get any good training job when you are under 18, and the apparently permanently-miserable economy. For example, I welded and drove a forklift when I was in high school. That would get a company closed down and quite likely, the officers of it in jail today.

And graduating from high school doesn’t mean what it used to.

My daughter just happened to stop by to see her former high school English teacher who has retired. Her teacher was bemoaning the fact that she was forced to pass students who actually failed. One of them had missed sixty days of class, yet the principal told her she had to pass him.

Our education system is a big joke, just like Obama.

You got that right. Everything is subordinated to their interests. Standards are debased, and the country “progresses” at their speed.

Is there a common link to these neighborhoods?

Elvis impersonators. You know that when you get past a certain critical threshold of people dressed up like Elvis, all sorts of bad and crazy shit happens.

I once found the 1950 FBI Uniform Crime Report online. Scrolling down until a found crime broken down by race, the black homicide rate back then was ALSO several times the white rate. Remember, 1950 was BEFORE the black welfare class, and when most black kids grew up in intact families.

I would say each neighborhood needs to be leveled and the residence dispersed over a broad area to break up the criminal element.

Wasn't that the original idea of the Great Society "Urban Renewal" and more recently "Section 8 Housing"?

How's that workin' out?

No, in the end it is not simply about changing the environment. That's the snake oil called "Liberalism". Really, in the end it is about changing the heart. Then ultimately the culture will follow.

Quite frankly that has everything to do with Jesus and the Holy Spirit and not about putting rotten apples into new barrels. That just gives you more rotten apples and stinks up the barrels.

A racist marxist party led by anti-white bigots, communists, and degenerate sex perverts.

They should be resisted with extreme prejudice.

Avoiding the Malls because of Thugs is one reason Malls are failing and becoming a blight on the neighborhood.

We are letting the thugs win. How can we take back the Malls?
