Let’s assume that every word that this guy writes is the gospel truth. Well then, billions will die, and natural resource consumption will plummet. Isn’t this what they want anyway? Seems like a consummation devoutly to be wished given their worldview and set of assumptions.

The duration of this screed is proof its author is incapable of proving his thesis. Many words do not make a convincing argument.
For one, it is not worth reading past the first 100 words. For two, it is argumentative and ideological. For three, I call BS on the whole matter.

Yes, always a good idea to act out of fear and extreme negativity. Great way to run a civilization.

http://cnsnews.com/news/article/barbara-hollingsworth/alaskan-polar-bears-threatened-too-much-spring-ice-0

(CNSNews.com) – Five meters of ice– about 16 feet thick - is threatening the survival of polar bears in the Southern Beaufort Sea region along Alaska’s Arctic coast, according to Dr. Susan J. Crockford, an evolutionary biologist in British Columbia who has studied polar bears for most of her 35-year career.

That’s because the thick ice ridges could prevent ringed seals, the bears’ major prey, from creating breathing holes they need to survive in the frigid waters, Crockford told CNSNews.com.

Once you get a fairly substantial amount of the ice to melt...it flows down off the side of Canada (east and west), and gets into the Atlantic and Pacific streams. This radically changes weather. The reason we know? It’s done it before.

There is currently no substantial ice melt, nor has there been for 10,000 years. There are minor fluctuations in land ice with the start and recent end of the Little Ice Age, but those fluctuations do not affect the weather. More likely the opposite is true, it is the weather patterns, driven by solar factors, that result in the changes in climate.

Yeah and a tenuous one at that. Their examples of famine and disruption come from the Little Ice Age which was a condition of global cooling we may hopefully be able to avoid with modest (beneficial so far) global warming.

Ice ages bring famine. We’re headed that way now.
