Netanyahu: Rather than soothing international public opinion, Abbas should choose between Hamas and peace with Israel.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas released a special message on Sunday in Arabic and in English on the occasion of Israel's Holocaust Remembrance Day, in which he decried the murder of Jews in the Holocaust as "the most heinous crime against humanity in modern history.

This is the first time a Palestinian president has ever made such a public declaration.

I admit, this statement from te holder of a Phd from Patrice Lumumba University, on "The Secret Relationship Between Nazism and Zionism, doesn't impress me. Others will comment on the propensity for Muslims, radical Muslims if you prefer, to lie in furtherance of their objectives.

Kerry and the President will be impressed. Good thing a former President included in the Oslo agreements, with Israel's approval, amnesty for crimes committed prior to the agreements. Though he's best known for the Olympic operation, I suspect without amnesty he would have shared a cell with Yasser, his immediate superior. Yes, shared a cell, Israel doesn't execute mass murderers. Unless they get into larger numbers than the Palestinians have achieved. Not for lack of trying.

President Abbas: Holocaust is the Most Heinous Crime in Modern Era
http://english.wafa.ps/index.php?action=detail&id=25007

RAMALLAH, April 27, 2014 (WAFA) - In response to a question on the occasion of Holocaust Day, raised in conversation with Rabbi Marc Schneier, President Mahmoud Abbas said that: what happened to the Jews in the Holocaust is the most heinous crime to have occurred against humanity in the modern era. He expressed his sympathy with the families of the victims and many other innocent people who were killed by the Nazis.

President Abbas stressed that the Holocaust is a reflection of the concept of ethnic discrimination and racism which the Palestinians strongly reject and act against.

‘The world must do its utmost to fight racism and injustice in order to bring justice and equality to oppressed people wherever they are.

[and here’s the buried lead]

The Palestinian people, who suffer from injustice, oppression and denied freedom and peace, are the first to demand to lift the injustice and racism that befell other peoples subjected to such crimes.’

‘On the incredibly sad commemoration of Holocaust Day, we call on the Israeli government to seize the current opportunity to conclude a just and comprehensive peace in the region, based on the two states vision, Israel and Palestine living side by side in peace and security.’

WHY ABBAS DID IT

What possessed moderate Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to suddenly join forces with Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh, whose organization is bent on Israel’s annihilation? As for the timing, it was even more puzzling - it came smack in the middle of U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry’s apparent breakthrough in the clash between Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu over the release of Israeli-Arab terrorists. The latest Abbas gambit has exposed the Palestinian leader’s goal of seeking an imposed UN solution, rather than a U.S. brokered peace accord.

[hold your nose, HuffPo!]

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri told Reuters: “The recognition of Israel by the president of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, is not new. What is important is that Hamas did not and will never recognise Israel.”

The Amalekites (palestinians) are the very people that Yehova ordered Israel to obliterate from the Earth about 3500 years ago, and their disobedient failure is the reason for their many persecutions since.

Haman was an Amalekite.

Will the “Antichrist” be one too?

Had they obeyed, no Amalekite would have been there to trouble them.

They’ve been hounded, persecuted, rounded up, driven underground, lynched, etc etc, and the Amalekites ceased to exist long long ago.

No, the Amalekites have not ceased to exist. Just had their name changed to protect the guilty.

There is nothing metaphorical about Israel’s plight WRT the Amalekites. It is as real as anything you can name.
