Great post.
“We’re going to blame Bush forever.” - Madeleine Albright
I thought it was spelled “That was easy”.
The dangerous part is that with all the mistakes, corruption and incompetence of the 0bama regime, he is not held accountable. Bad things are happening that are being ignored and lied about. They are delusional, hoping for a different reality.
To the tune of “Climb every Mountain” from “The Sound of Music”:
Comb every archive,
Search every vault
Scour every hard drive
Make it Bush’s Fault.
Sort every shredder,
Pick every brain,
make up a new memo,
cause our country pain.
Call up IBM,
And tell them you will pay,
If they’d lend you an old
Selectric for a Day!
Chase every rumor,
For Your asssault.
Make mountains out of molehills!
MAKE
IT
BUSH’S
FAULT!!!!!

Blaming Bush had zero to do with the Ukraine crisis.
Europeans don’t think about Bush and by now many of them do not remember who he is.
Europe brought this mess about.
Yep, and the next repub president will be left with all this mess to clean up. And it will become his fault from day one. Their media allows baraq to act as a spectator instead of the actual president. Remember when 9/11 was blamed on Bush with NO mention of Clinton’s actions that lead to that event?
Your link to the misspelled reset button has unsurprisingly disappeared down 0bama’s hole of lost memories:
“The page you are looking for is temporarily unavailable.
Please try again later.”
This is a great article and right on spot.
When Hillary herself and her lackey Psaki couldn’t think of anything Hillary had accomplished as Secretary of State, how could they have forgotten her presenting the “Reset” button to the neo-Soviets?
Well put. Years ago, after a couple business meetings, I asked a friend what this guy from Marketing does. He politely said, "He goes to meetings" and said nothing else. We were able to work around him. 0bama has nobody with competence to step up.
If an R wins in 2016 and the dems better hope for it, it will be all the new president R’s fault, all of it every BO failure will be blamed on the next Pres, if an R.
Yup. That was her highpoint.
Wrong. How about holding Clinton (the President, not Madam Secretary) responsible for the breakdown in ties? The adventures in Bosnia and Kosovo and NATO expansion to Russia's very borders, all of which were Clinton's doing is what sewed the whirlwind. A bit of deference to Russia's national interest during the Clinton era would have prevented all of this, yes, even with Vladimir Putin in charge of Russia. The ties were broken before Bush came into office, weren't repaired by Bush, weren't repaired by Obama and Madam Secretary Clinton, symbolic "resets" and "more flexibility after the election" notwithstanding.
Greenfields comments are driven by conceptions offered by a controlled media. The heart of the matter is there is something going on behind the scenes which either has been ignored or not covered in Russia which is driving Putin to do what he is doing. Which Greenfield points out.
Everything that’s going in Russia isn’t Hunky Dory. Putin’s been turning the screws over there slowly and surely. But instead of directing the attention to that. The media and the democrats turns its venom on Bush. Which Greenfield in this piece does mention but unfortunately does not delve into causes.
Russia’s economy is driven by its energy exports. It’s threatend because of new developments in the discovery and methods of extraction for those resources by their very customers. One which has a sizeable resources of its own both inland and offshore in what the Russians consider their private lake, the black sea.
If only his customers didn’t have such resources or could be intimidated from using them Putin sits prettily. The sad thing is nobody is pointing this out. Not just Greenfield, but the Ukrainians themselves as well as the present regime ruining this country.

Instead of making a counter offer, they folded rather than match and beat the Russian offer. They folded because they figured they had plenty of practice taking over governments with mobs in the streets and bombing when mobs weren't enough.
The EU put the current crowd in office in Kiev instead of waiting for the already impending elections so the EU owns this. They caused it, let them deal with it.
